Abstract in English
This study investigated the Persistence of Deltamethrin on Apple,
Grape, Tomato and Cucumber. as follows:The grape and apple trees
were sprayed with Deltamethrin at rate 250 Cm3/ha, while
Cucumber and tomato were sprayed with Deltamethrin at rate 150
cm3/ha.
The half-life of Deltamethrin was 5.36, 5.78, 2.32, 2.11
days on grape, apple, tomato and cucumber respectively. The
calculated safety periods of Deltamethrin were 7, 4, 0, 3 days for
grape, apple, cucumber and tomato respectively. Although the
pesticide container label, states that crops can be consumed
immediately after spraying.
