Cortisol level and The Emotional Intelligence for under graduated students


Abstract in English

This study aims to investigate the nature of the relationship between the emotional intelligence and cortisol level among under graduated students. to achieve this goal the study applied the emotional intelligence scale and tests of urine cortisol to a sample of (50) males and (60) female with average age (19-21). The results of the study indicated that there was a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and the level of cortisol. In ad diction, there were no differences between males and females in the emotional intelligence The study found a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and the level of achievement. Finally the study found that emotional intelligence is linked to several components which can be measured and analyzed.
