The study shows that there is a decrease in the whole labour participation rate during the period of study despite the rise of higher education employment. Using a descriptive analytical and statistical method, the research comes up with some important results: Higher education negatively affects the rate of female participation in economic activities. Higher education negatively affects the rate of male participation in economic activities.
