Purpose: to show the good results of primary repair of flexor tendon injuries of the hand in children which very difficult in diagnosis and treatment for hand surgeon. Patients and methods: This is a study of primary repair of flexor tendons injuries in 20 children under 10 years of age within two years in hand unit Al-razi hospital (Kuwait). Repairs were carried within one week using modified Kessler technique. The final results were evaluated using criteria of adjusted Strickland; the final results were evaluated using criteria of adjusted Strickland, The maim follow-up was 6 months. Post operative immobilization using long splint for 4 weeks. Results: They were good or excellent in 18 cases, one case had limited movement DIPJ and PIPJ but not bad and other case had no movement of DIPJ and PIPJ who need tenolysis after 8 months of repair. The zone of injury had no significant effect on the final results which very important in adult. Conclusion: primary repair of flexor tendon injuries of the hand in children gives the best results if early diagnosis and early repair done with good technique
