We establish a fluctuation-correlation theorem by relating the quantum fluctuations in the generator of the parameter change to the time integral of the quantum correlation function between the projection operator and force operator of the ``fast system. By taking a cue from linear response theory we relate the quantum fluctuation in the generator to the generalised susceptibility. Relation between the open-path geometric phase, diagonal elements of the quantum metric tensor and the force-force correlation function is provided and the classical limit of the fluctuation-correlation theorem is also discussed.

Correlation function and mutual information are two powerful tools to characterize the correlations in a quantum state of a composite system, widely used in many-body physics and in quantum information science, respectively. We find that these two tools may give different conclusions about the order of the degrees of correlation in two specific two-qubit states. This result implies that the orderings of bipartite quantum states according to the degrees of correlation depend on which correlation measure we adopt.
In terms of quantum probability statistics the Bell inequality (BI) and its violation are extended to spin-$s$ entangled Schr{o}dinger cat-state (called the Bell cat-state) with both parallel and antiparallel spin-polarizations. The BI is never ever violated for the measuring outcome probabilities evaluated over entire two-spin Hilbert space except the spin-$1/2$ entangled states. A universal Bell-type inequality (UBI) denoted by $p_{s}^{lc}leq0$ is formulated with the local realistic model under the condition that the measuring outcomes are restricted in the subspace of spin coherent states. A spin parity effect is observed that the UBI can be violated only by the Bell cat-states of half-integer but not the integer spins. The violation of UBI is seen to be a direct result of non-trivial Berry phase between the spin coherent states of south- and north-pole gauges for half-integer spin, while the geometric phase is trivial for the integer spins. A maximum violation bound of UBI is found as $p_{s}^{max}$=1, which is valid for arbitrary half-integer spin-$s$ states.
In a ring of s-wave superconducting material the magnetic flux is quantized in units of $Phi_0 = frac{h}{2e}$. It is well known from the theory of Josephson junctions that if the ring is interrupted with a piece of d-wave material, then the flux is quantized in one-half of those units due to a additional phase shift of $pi$. We reinterpret this phenomenon in terms of geometric phase. We consider an idealized hetero-junction superconductor with pure s-wave and pure d-wave electron pairs. We find, for this idealized configuration, that the phase shift of $pi$ follows from the discontinuity in the geometric phase and is thus a fundamental consequence of quantum mechanics.
New relations among the mixture direct correlation function integrals (or fluctuation integrals) in terms of concentration variables are developed. These relations indicate that, for example, for a binary mixture only one of the three direct correlation function integrals (or one of the three fluctuation integrals is independent. Different closure expressions for mixture cross direct correlation function integrals are suggested and they are joined with the exact relations to calculate all the direct correlation function integrals and fluctuation integrals in a mixture. The results indicate the possibility of introduction of simple closure expressions relating unlike- and like-interaction direct correlation integrals. It is demonstrated that the relation between the direct correlation integrals of hard-sphere mixtures can be satisfactorily represented by a simple geometric mean closure.
The influence of the phase fluctuation of the pump laser on the phase-correlation between the signal and idler modes of the output fields from as non-degenerate optical parametric oscillator operating above oscillation threshold was experimentally investigated. The noise spectra of the intensity-difference and the phase-sum of the entangled optical beams were measured with a pair of unbalanced fiber Match-Zehnder interferometers specifically designed. The experimental results proved the previously theoretical prediction and are in reasonable agreement with the calculation based on semiclassical theory involving the phase fluctuation of pump laser.
