The transverse momentum ($p_{mathrm T}$) spectra for identified charged pions, protons and anti-protons from $p$+$p$ and $d$+Au collisions are measured around midrapidity ($mid$y$mid$ $<$ 0.5) over the range of 0.3 $<$ $p_{mathrm T}$ $<$ 10 GeV/$c$ at $sqrt{s_{mathrm {NN}}}$ = 200 GeV. The charged pion and proton+anti-proton spectra at high p_{T} in p+p collisions have been compared with the next-to-leading order perturbative quantum chromodynamic (NLO pQCD) calculations with a specific fragmentation scheme. The p/pi^{+} and pbar/pi^{-}has been studied at high p_{T}. The nuclear modification factor (R_{dAu}) shows that the identified particle Cronin effects around midrapidity are significantly non-zero for charged pions and to be even larger for protons at intermediate p_{T} (2 < p_{T} < 5 GeV/c).

The PHENIX experiment has measured direct photons at $sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 200 GeV in $p+p$, $d$+Au and Au+Au collisions. For $p_{T}$ $<$ 4 GeV/$c$, the internal conversion into $e^{+}e^{-}$ pairs has been used to measure the direct photons in Au+Au.
The PHENIX experiment at RHIC has measured the invariant cross section for omega-meson production at mid-rapidity in the transverse momentum range 2.5 < p_T < 9.25 GeV/c in p+p and d+Au collisions at sqrt(s_NN) = 200 GeV. Measurements in two decay channels (omega --> pi^0 pi^+ pi^- and omega --> pi^0 gamma) yield consistent results, and the reconstructed omega mass agrees with the accepted value within the p_T range of the measurements. The omega/pi^0 ratio is found to be 0.85 +/- 0.05(stat) +/- 0.09(sys) and 0.94 +/- 0.08(stat) +/- 0.12(sys) in p+p and d+Au collisions respectively, independent of p_T . The nuclear modification factor R_dA is 1.03 +/- 0.12(stat) +/- 0.21(sys) and 0.83 +/- 0.21(stat) +/- 0.17(sys) in minimum bias and central (0-20%) d+Au collisions, respectively.
The transverse momentum (p_T) spectra and ratios of identified charged hadrons (pi^+/-, K^+/-, p, p^bar) produced in sqrt(s_NN)=200 GeV Au+Au and d+Au collisions are reported in five different centrality classes for each collision species. The measurements of pions and protons are reported up to p_T=6 GeV/c (5 GeV/c), and the measurements of kaons are reported up to p_T=4 GeV/c (3.5 GeV/c) in Au+Au (d+Au) collisions. In the intermediate p_T region, between 2--5 GeV/c, a significant enhancement of baryon to meson ratios compared to those measured in p+p collisions is observed. This enhancement is present in both Au+Au and d+Au collisions, and increases as the collisions become more central. We compare a class of peripheral Au+Au collisions with a class of central d+Au collisions which have a comparable number of participating nucleons and binary nucleon-nucleon collisions. The p_T dependent particle ratios for these classes display a remarkable similarity, which is then discussed.
The PHENIX experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) has measured omega meson production via leptonic and hadronic decay channels in p+p, d+Au, Cu+Cu, and Au+Au collisions at sqrt(s_NN) = 200 GeV. The invariant transverse momentum spectra measured in different decay modes give consistent results. Measurements in the hadronic decay channel in Cu+Cu and Au+Au collisions show that omega production has a suppression pattern at high transverse momentum, similar to that of pi^0 and eta in central collisions, but no suppression is observed in peripheral collisions. The nuclear modification factors, R_AA, are consistent in Cu+Cu and Au+Au collisions at similar numbers of participant nucleons.
We report on the measurement of $rm{J}/psi$ production in the dielectron channel at mid-rapidity (|y|<1) in p+p and d+Au collisions at $sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 200 GeV from the STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. The transverse momentum $p_{T}$ spectra in p+p for $p_{T}$ < 4 GeV/c and d+Au collisions for $p_{T}$ < 3 GeV/c are presented. These measurements extend the STAR coverage for $rm{J}/psi$ production in p+p collisions to low $p_{T}$. The $<p_{T}^{2}>$ from the measured $rm{J}/psi$ invariant cross section in p+p and d+Au collisions are evaluated and compared to similar measurements at other collision energies. The nuclear modification factor for $rm{J}/psi$ is extracted as a function of $p_{T}$ and collision centrality in d+Au and compared to model calculations using the modified nuclear Parton Distribution Function and a final-state $rm{J}/psi$ nuclear absorption cross section.
