We consider the electroweak theory with an additional Higgs triplet at one loop using the hybrid renormalization scheme based on $alpha_{rm EM}$, $G_F$ and $M_Z$ as input observables. We show that in this scheme loop corrections can be naturally split into the Standard Model part and corrections due to ``new physics. The latter, however do not decouple in the limit of infinite triplet mass parameter, if the triplet trilinear coupling to SM Higgs doublets grows along with the the triplet mass. In electroweak observables computed at one loop this effect can be attributed to radiative generation in this limit of a nonvanishing vacuum expectation value of the triplet. We also point out that whenever tree level expressions for the electroweak observables depend on vacuum expectation values of scalar fields other than the Standard Model Higgs doublet, tadpole contribution to the ``oblique parameter $T$ should in principle be included. In the Appendix the origin of nondecoupling is discussed on the basis of symmetry principles in a simple scalar field theory.

Much theoretical effort and automatization are required to confront new physics models with experimental data for many types of particle reactions at future colliders. In this context, we extend GRACE, an automatic calculation system for invariant amplitudes, to incorporate particles and interactions in the Georgi-Machacek model. With the extended GRACE system, we study fermiophobic Higgs boson production processes at $e^+ e^-$ and $e^- e^-$ colliders in the model. The results show some advantages of $e^- e^-$ colliders over $e^+ e^-$ colliders for new physics search and thus its complementary role.
In Kaluza-Klein theories of low-scale quantum gravity, gravitons and isosinglet neutrinos may propagate in a higher-dimensional space with large compact dimensions, whereas all particles of the Standard Model are confined on a (1+3)-dimensional subspace. After compactification of the extra dimensions, the resulting Yukawa couplings of the Kaluza-Klein neutrinos to the lepton doublets become naturally very suppressed by a higher-dimensional volume factor, in agreement with phenomenological observations. We show that one-loop effects induced by Kaluza-Klein neutrinos, albeit tiny individually, act cumulatively in electroweak processes, giving rise to a non-decoupling behaviour for large values of the higher-dimensional Yukawa couplings. Owing to the non-decoupling effects of Kaluza-Klein neutrinos, we can derive stronger constraints on the parameters of the theory that originate from the non-observation of flavour-violating and universality-breaking phenomena, which involve the W and Z bosons, and the e, $mu$ and $tau$ leptons.
Non-decoupling effects of heavy particles present in beyond-the-standard models are studied for the triple gauge boson vertices $gamma W^+W^-$ and $Z^0W^+W^-$. We show from a general argument that the non-decoupling effects are described by four independent parameters, in comparison with the three parameters $S$, $T$ and $U$ in the oblique corrections. These four parameters of the effective triple gauge boson vertices are computed in two beyond-the-standard models. We also study the relation of the four parameters to the $S$, $T$, $U$ parameters, relying on an operator analysis.
We perform an exclusive study on the Feebly Interacting Massive Particle (FIMP) dark matter candidate in an extended hyperchargeless ($Y=0$) Higgs triplet model. The additional $Z_2$ odd neutral fermion singlet plays the role of dark matter with support from two other vector-like fermion doublets. The mixing between the neutral component of a doublet and singlet fermions controls the current relic density through the Freeze-in mechanism, whereas the additional doublet fermion helps to get the neutrino mass and mixing angles. We obtain a broad region of the parameter spaces satisfying the current relic density and neutrino mass and mixing angles.
We develop a technique to present Higgs coupling measurements, which decouple the poorly defined theoretical uncertainties associated to inclusive and exclusive cross section predictions. The technique simplifies the combination of multiple measurements and can be used in a more general setting. We illustrate the approach with toy LHC Higgs coupling measurements and a collection of new physics models.
