Following Rosner [hep-ph/0312269], we consider B-decay production channels for the exotic I=0 and $I=3/2$ pentaquarks that have been recently reported. We also discuss new search channels for isovector pentaquarks, such as the $Theta^{*++} (bar s duuu)$, that are generically present in chiral soliton models but were not observed in recent experiments. Futhermore, we argue that weak decays of charmed baryons, such as the $Lambda_c^+$ and $Xi_c^0$, provide another clean way of detecting exotic baryons made of light quarks only. We also discuss discovery channels for charmed pentaquarks, such as the isosinglet $Theta_c^0 (bar c udud)$, in weak decays of bottom mesons and baryons. Finally, we discuss prospects for inclusive production of pentaquarks in $e^+ e^-$ collisions, with associated production of particles carrying the opposite baryon number.

The production of phi mesons in Au+Au collisions at RHIC and their propagation in a hot and dense nuclear medium is studied within the microscopic quark-gluon string model. The inverse slope parameter of the transverse mass distribution agrees well with that extracted from the STAR data, while the absolute yield of phi is underestimated by a factor 2. It appears that the fusion of strings alone cannot increase the phi yield either. Less than 30% of detectable phis experience elastic scattering, this rate is insufficient for the full thermalization of phi. The directed flow of phi at |y|<2 demonstrates strong antiflow behavior, whereas its elliptic flow rises up to about 3.5% in the same rapidity interval. As a function of transverse momentum it rises linearly with increasing p_t, in agreement with the STAR data, and saturates at p_t > 2 GeV/c.
We consider the fidelity of the vector meson dominance (VMD) assumption as an instrument for relating the electromagnetic vector-meson production reaction $e + p to e^prime + V + p$ to the purely hadronic process $V + p to V+p$. Analyses of the photon vacuum polarisation and the photon-quark vertex reveal that such a VMD Ansatz might be reasonable for light vector-mesons. However, when the vector-mesons are described by momentum-dependent bound-state amplitudes, VMD fails for heavy vector-mesons: it cannot be used reliably to estimate either a photon-to-vector-meson transition strength or the momentum dependence of those integrands that would arise in calculations of the different reaction amplitudes. Consequently, for processes involving heavy mesons, the veracity of both cross-section estimates and conclusions based on the VMD assumption should be reviewed, e.g., those relating to hidden-charm pentaquark production and the origin of the proton mass.

The ALICE experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) will allow the study of resonance production in nucleus-nucleus and proton-proton collisions. This paper presents results based on physics performance studies to discuss prospects in ALICE for $phi$(1020) meson production in pp interactions during the LHC startup.
The proposed Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC), with a center-of-mass energy $sqrt{s} = 240$ GeV, will serve as a Higgs factory. At the same time, it can offer good opportunity for searches for new physics phenomena at low energy: these are challenging in hadron colliders, but well motivated by some theory models developed to explain, e.g., the relic abundance of dark matter. This paper presents sensitivity studies of chargino pair production, considering scenarios for both a Bino-like and a Higgsino-like neutralino as lightest supersymmetric particle, using full Monte Carlo (MC) simulation. With the assumption of systematic uncertainties at the level of 5%, the CEPC has the ability to discover chargino pair production up to the kinematic limit of $sqrt{s}/2$ for both considered cases. Thanks to the conservative assumptions on the systematic uncertainties and the low dependence on the reconstruction model and detector geometry considered, the results of this study can be considered as a reference and benchmark also for similar searches in other similar electron positron colliders, such as Future Circular Collider $e^{+}e^{-}$ (FCC-ee) and the International Linear Collider (ILC).

Recent results and future prospects for Y(5S) running at B-factories are discussed. The first Belle measurements with 23.6 fb-1 of data taken at the Y(5S) energy are reported. Eligibility of potential measurements expected with 100 fb-1 and 1000 fb-1 of data at the Y(5S) is estimated.
