We study the effects of the MSSM contribution on B -> phi K decays using the perturbative QCD approach. In this approach, strong phases can be calculated, so that we can predict the values of CP asymmetries with the MSSM contribution. We predict a large relative strong phase between the penguin amplitude and the chromomagnetic penguin amplitude. If there is a new CP violating phase in the chromomagnetic penguin amplitude, then the CP asymmetries may change significantly from the SM prediction. We parametrize the new physics contributions that appear in the Wilson coefficients. We maximize the new physics parameters up to the point where it is limited by experimental constraints. In the case of the LR insertion, we find that the direct CP asymmetries can reach about 85% and the indirect CP asymmetry can reach about -30%.

New physics contributions to B decays often arise through chromo-magnetic penguin operators. To look for new physics effects in B decays, it is useful to be able to estimate the hadronic matrix elements for the chromo-magnetic operator. We compute this contribution to B ->phi K decays using PQCD methods. It is shown that, if the Wilson coefficient of the new physics is same order of magnitude as that of the Standard Model, this operator gives a non-negligible contribution compared to that of the Standard Model (about 30%). We also investigate the value of q^2, which is the momentum transferred by the gluon in the chromo-magnetic penguin operator. We find that the expectation value <q^2> is approximately M^2_B/4, in agreement with a naive guess. This result, however, is very sensitive to the scale dependence of the Wilson coefficient. We also show that the matrix element for the chromo-magnetic penguin operator is independent of the choice of energy scale to a very good approximation.
We discuss a novel pertubative QCD approach on the exclusive non-leptonic two body B-meson decays. We briefly review its ingredients and some important theoretical issues on the factorization approaches. We show numerical results which is compatible with recent experimantal data for the charmless B-meson decays.
We study the effect from a sequential fourth generation quark on penguin-dominated two-body nonleptonic B meson decays in the next-to-leading order perturbative QCD formalism. With an enhancement of the color-suppressed tree amplitude and possibility of a new CP phase in the electroweak penguin, we can account better for A_{CP}(B^0 -> K^+ pi^-)-A_{CP}(B^+ -> K^+ pi^0). Taking |V_{ts}V_{tb}| sim 0.02 with phase just below 90^circ, which are consistent with the b -> s l^+ l^- rate and the B_s mixing parameter Delta m_{B_s}, we find a downward shift in the mixing-induced CP asymmetries of B^0 -> K_S pi^0 and phi K_S. The predicted behavior for B^0 -> rho^0 K_S is opposite.
The first full amplitude analysis of $B^+to J/psi phi K^+$ with $J/psitomu^+mu^-$, $phito K^+K^-$ decays is performed with a data sample of 3 fb$^{-1}$ of $pp$ collision data collected at $sqrt{s}=7$ and $8$ TeV with the LHCb detector. The data cannot be described by a model that contains only excited kaon states decaying into $phi K^+$, and four $J/psiphi$ structures are observed, each with significance over $5$ standard deviations. The quantum numbers of these structures are determined with significance of at least $4$ standard deviations. The lightest has mass consistent with, but width much larger than, previous measurements of the claimed $X(4140)$ state. The model includes significant contributions from a number of expected kaon excitations, including the first observation of the $K^{*}(1680)^+tophi K^+$ transition.
The radiative B-> rho gamma, B-> omega gamma decay modes are caused by the FCNC process, so they give us good insight towards probing the standard model in order to search for new physics. In this paper, we compute the branching ratio, direct CP asymmetry, and isospin breaking effects using the perturbative QCD approach within the standard model.
