Mass dependences of the total production rates per hadronic Z decay of all light-flavour hadrons measured so far at LEP are extrapolated to the zero mass limit (m=0) using phenomenological laws of hadron production related to the spin, isospin, strangeness content and mass of the particles. The vector-to-pseudoscalar and meson-to-baryon ratios at m=0 are found to be: rho^+ / 3 pi^+ = 1.2 +/- 0.3 and pi^+ / p = 2.9 +/- 0.3, in good agreement with the predictions of quark combinatorics.

Exclusive vector meson photoproduction associated with a leading baryon ($B = n, Delta^+, Delta^0$) in $pp$ and $pA$ collisions at RHIC and LHC energies is investigated using the color dipole formalism and taking into account nonlinear effects in the QCD dynamics. In particular, we compute the cross sections for $rho$, $phi$ and $J/Psi$ production together with a $Delta$ and compare the predictions with those obtained for a leading neutron. Our results show that the $V + Delta$ cross section is almost 30 % of the $V + n$ one. Our results also show that a future experimental analysis of these processes is, in principle, feasible and can be useful to study leading particle production.

The mean charge multiplicity in hadronic three-jet Z decays has been measured with the DELPHI detector as a function of the event topology and compared with recent theoretical calculations. The QCD colour factor ratio C_A/C_F was determined, and the gluon contribution to this multiplicity was extracted giving a measurement of the mean charge multiplicity of a two-gluon colour-singlet system as a function of the effective c.m. energy covering the range from 16 to 52 GeV.
In this paper we analyse the double vector meson production in photon -- hadron ($gamma h$) interactions at $pp/pA/AA$ collisions and present predictions for the $rhorho$, $J/Psi J/Psi$ and $rho J/Psi$ production considering the double scattering mechanism. We estimate the total cross sections and rapidity distributions at LHC energies and compare our results with the predictions for the double vector meson production in $gamma gamma$ interactions at hadronic colliders. We present predictions for the different rapidity ranges probed by the ALICE, ATLAS, CMS and LHCb Collaborations. Our results demonstrate that the $rhorho$ and $J/Psi J/Psi$ production in $PbPb$ collisions is dominated by the double scattering mechanism, while the two - photon mechanism dominates in $pp$ collisions. Moreover, our results indicate that the analysis of the $rho J/Psi$ production at LHC can be useful to constrain the double scattering mechanism.
We evaluate ratios of the $chi_{c1}$ decay rates to $eta$ ($eta, K^-$) and one of the $f_0(1370)$, $f_0(1710)$, $f_2(1270)$, $f_2(1525)$, $K^{*}_2(1430)$ resonances, which in the local hidden gauge approach are dynamically generated from the vector-vector interaction. With the simple assumption that the $chi_{c1}$ is a singlet of SU(3), and the input from the study of these resonances as vector-vector molecular states, we describe the experimental ratio $mathcal{B}(chi_{c1} rightarrow eta f_2(1270))/ mathcal{B}(chi_{c1} rightarrow eta f_2(1525))$ and make predictions for six more ratios that can be tested in future experiments.
We give a systematic study of ${bf B}_cto {bf B}_n V$ decays, where ${bf B}_c$ and $ {bf B}_n$ correspond to the anti-triplet charmed and octet baryons, respectively, while $V$ stand for the vector mesons. We calculate the color-symmetric contributions to the decays from the effective Hamiltonian with the factorization approach and extract the anti-symmetric ones based on the experimental measurements and $SU(3)_F$ flavor symmetry. We find that most of the existing experimental data for ${bf B}_cto {bf B}_n V$ are consistent with our fitting results. We present all the branching ratios of the Cabbibo allowed, singly Cabbibo suppressed and doubly Cabbibo suppressed decays of ${bf B}_cto {bf B}_n V$. The decay parameters for the daughter baryons and mesons in ${bf B}_cto {bf B}_n V$ are also evaluated. In particular, we point out that the Cabbibo allowed decays of $Lambda_c^+ to Lambda^0 rho^+$ and $ Xi_c^0 to Xi^- rho^+$ as well as the singly Cabbibo suppressed ones of $Lambda_c^+ to Lambda^0 K^{*+}$, $Xi_c^+ to Sigma^+ phi$ and $Xi_c^0to Xi^- K^{*+}$ have large branching ratios and decay parameters with small uncertainties, which can be tested by the experimental searches at the charm facilities.
