In this article, we prove a new general identity involving the Theta operators introduced by the first author and his collaborators in [DAdderio, Iraci, Vanden Wyngaerd 2020]. From this result, we can easily deduce several new identities that have combinatorial consequences in the study of Macdonald polynomials and diagonal coinvariants. In particular, we provide a unifying framework from which we recover many identities scattered in the literature, often resulting in drastically shorter proofs.

In this paper we set up a bivariate representation of partial theta functions which not only unifies some famous identities for partial theta functions due to Andrews and Warnaar, et al. but also unveils a new characteristic of such identities. As further applications, we establish a general form of Warnaars identity and a general $q$--series transformation associated with Bailey pairs via the use of the power series expansion of partial theta functions.

In this paper, by the method of comparing coefficients and the inverse technique, we establish the corresponding variate forms of two identities of Andrews and Yee for mock theta functions, as well as a few allied but unusual $q$-series identities. Among includes a new Bailey pair from which a product formula of two ${}_2phi_1$ series is derived. Further, we focus on two finite $q$-series summations arising from Andrews and Yees mock theta function identities and expound some recurrence relations and transformation formulas behind them.
We introduce a new approach to the classification of operator identities, based on basic concepts from the theory of algebraic operads together with computational commutative algebra applied to determinantal ideals of matrices over polynomial rings. We consider operator identities of degree 2 (the number of variables in each term) and multiplicity 1 or 2 (the number of operators in each term), but our methods apply more generally. Given an operator identity with indeterminate coefficients, we use partial compositions to construct a matrix of consequences, and then use computer algebra to determine the values of the indeterminates for which this matrix has submaximal rank. For multiplicity 1 we obtain six identities, including the derivation identity. For multiplicity 2 we obtain eighteen identities and two parametrized families, including the left and right averaging identities, the Rota-Baxter identity, the Nijenhuis identity, and some new identities which deserve further study.
Smoothing (and decay) spacetime estimates are discussed for evolution groups of self-adjoint operators in an abstract setting. The basic assumption is the existence (and weak continuity) of the spectral density in a functional setting. Spectral identities for the time evolution of such operators are derived, enabling results concerning best constants for smoothing estimates. When combined with suitable comparison principles (analogous to those established in our previous work), they yield smoothing estimates for classes of functions of the operators . A important particular case is the derivation of global spacetime estimates for a perturbed operator $H+V$ on the basis of its comparison with the unperturbed operator $H.$ A number of applications are given, including smoothing estimates for fractional Laplacians, Stark Hamiltonians and Schrodinger operators with potentials.

From sum-of-squares formulas of sizes $[r, s, n]$ and $[r, s, n]$ we construct a formula of size $[r + r, 2ss, 2nn]$.
