We focus on two types of coherent states, the coherent states of multi graviton states and the coherent states of giant graviton states, in the context of gauge/gravity correspondence. We conveniently use a phase shift operator and its actions on the superpositions of these coherent states. We find $N$-state Schrodinger cat states which approach the one-row Young tableau states, with fidelity between them asymptotically reaches 1 at large $N$. The quantum Fisher information of these states is proportional to the variance of the excitation energy of the underlying states, and characterizes the localizability of the states in the angular direction in the phase space. We analyze the correlation and entanglement between gravitational degrees of freedom using different regions of the phase space plane in bubbling AdS. The correlation between two entangled rings in the phase space plane is related to the area of the annulus between the two rings. We also analyze two types of noisy coherent states, which can be viewed as interpolated states that interpolate between a pure coherent state in the noiseless limit and a maximally mixed state in the large noise limit.

The equivalence between Chern-Simons and Einstein-Hilbert actions in three dimensions established by A.~Achucarro and P.~K.~Townsend (1986) and E.~Witten (1988) is generalized to the off-shell case. The technique is also generalized to the Yang-Mills action in four dimensions displaying de Sitter gauge symmetry. It is shown that, in both cases, we can directly identify a gravity action while the gauge symmetry can generate spacetime local isometries as well as diffeomorphisms. The price we pay for working in an off-shell scenario is that specific geometric constraints are needed. These constraints can be identified with foliations of spacetime. The special case of spacelike leafs evolving in time is studied. Finally, the whole set up is analyzed under fiber bundle theory. In this analysis we show that a traditional gauge theory, where the gauge field does not influence in spacetime dynamics, can be (for specific cases) consistently mapped into a gravity theory in the first order formalism.

The AdS/CFT correspondence provides quantum theories of gravity in which spacetime and gravitational physics emerge from ordinary non-gravitational quantum systems with many degrees of freedom. Recent work in this context has uncovered fascinating connections between quantum information theory and quantum gravity, suggesting that spacetime geometry is directly related to the entanglement structure of the underlying quantum mechanical degrees of freedom and that aspects of spacetime dynamics (gravitation) can be understood from basic quantum information theoretic constraints. In these notes, we provide an elementary introduction to these developments, suitable for readers with some background in general relativity and quantum field theory. The notes are based on lectures given at the CERN Spring School 2014, the Jerusalem Winter School 2014, the TASI Summer School 2015, and the Trieste Spring School 2015.

We use entangled multimode coherent states to produce entangled giant graviton states, in the context of gauge/gravity duality. We make a smeared distribution of the entangled multimode coherent states on the circle, or on the five-sphere, in the higher dimensional view. In gauge/gravity duality, we analyze the superposition of giant graviton states, and the entangled pairs of giant graviton states. We map a class of angular distribution functions to unitary operations on the pairs. We also use Young tableau states to construct cat states and qudit states. Various bipartite quantum states involving Young tableau states are analyzed, including micro-macro entangled states. Mixed states of Young tableau states are generated, by using ensemble mixing using angular distribution functions, and also by going through noisy quantum channels. We then produce mixed entangled pair of giant graviton states, by including interaction with the environment and using noisy quantum channels.
Pure gauge theories for de Sitter, anti de Sitter and orthogonal groups, in four-dimensional Euclidean spacetime, are studied. It is shown that, if the theory is asymptotically free and a dynamical mass is generated, then an effective geometry may be induced and a gravity theory emerges.

We consider spacetime initiated by a finite-sized boundary on which a pure initial matter state is set as a natural generalization of the Hartle-Hawking no-boundary state. We study entanglement entropy of the gravitationally prepared matter state at the final time slice. We find that the entropy of the initial state or the entanglement island gives the entropy for large subregions on the final time slice. Consequently, we find the entanglement entropy is bounded from above by the boundary area of the island, leading to an entropy bound in terms of the island formula. The island $I$ appears in the analytically continued spacetime, either at the bra or the ket part of the spacetime in Schwinger-Keldysh formalism, and the entropy is given by an average of pseudo entropy of each entanglement island. We find a necessary condition of the initial state to be consistent with the strong sub-additivity. The condition requires that any probe degrees of freedom are thermally entangled with the rest of the system. We then study which initial condition leads to our finite-sized initial boundary or the Hartle-Hawking no-boundary state. Due to the absence of a moment of time reflection symmetry, the island in our setup requires a generalization of the entanglement wedge, which we call {it{pseudo entanglement wedge}}. In pseudo entanglement wedge reconstruction, we consider reconstructing the bulk matter transition matrix on $Acup I$, from a fine-grained state on $A$. The bulk transition matrix is given by a thermofield double state with a projection by the initial state. We provide an AdS/BCFT model, which provides a double holography model of our setup by considering EOW branes with corners. We also find the exponential hardness of such reconstruction task using a generalization of Pythons lunch conjecture to pseudo generalized entropy.
