In this work we have investigated the effects of the two highlighted nongaussian entropies which are the modified Renyi entropy and the so-called Incomplete statistics in the analysis of the thermodynamics of black holes (BHs). We have obtained the equipartition theorems and after that we obtained the heat capacities for both approaches. Depending on the values of both $lambda-$parameter and $M$, the BH mass, relative to a modified Renyi entropy and, depending on the values of the $q-$parameter and $M$, the Incomplete entropy can determine if the BH has an unstable thermal equilibrium or not for each model.

Considering corrections produced by modified dispersion relations on the equation of state parameter of radiation, we study the induced black hole metric inspired by Kiselevs ansatz, thus defining a deformed Reissner-Nordstr{o}m metric. In particular, we consider thermodynamic properties of such a black hole from the combined viewpoints of the modified equation of state parameter and the phenomenological approach to the quantum gravity problem called rainbow gravity.
Schwarzschild black holes in a de Sitter background were studied in terms of their thermodynamics based on the Renyi statistics. This led to thermodynamically stable black hole configurations for some certain range of black hole radii; namely within this range the corresponding black holes have positive heat capacity. Moreover, for a certain background temperature there can exist at most three configurations of black hole; one among which is thermodynamically stable. These configurations were investigated in terms of their free energies, resulting in the moderate-sized stable black hole configuration being the most preferred configuration. Furthermore, a specific condition on the Renyi non-extensive parameter is required if a given hot spacetime were to evolve thermally into the moderate-sized stable black hole.

In cite{Bahamonde:2019zea}, a spherically symmetric black hole (BH) was derived from the quadratic form of $f(T)$. Here we derive the associated energy, invariants of curvature, and torsion of this BH and demonstrate that the higher-order contribution of torsion renders the singularity weaker compared with the Schwarzschild BH of general relativity (GR). Moreover, we calculate the thermodynamic quantities and reveal the effect of the higher--order contribution on these quantities. Therefore, we derive a new spherically symmetric BH from the cubic form of $f(T)=T+epsilonBig[frac{1}{2}alpha T^2+frac{1}{3}beta T^3Big]$, where $epsilon<<1$, $alpha$, and $beta$ are constants. The new BH is characterized by the two constants $alpha$ and $beta$ in addition to $epsilon$. At $epsilon=0$ we return to GR. We study the physics of these new BH solutions via the same procedure that was applied for the quadratic BH. Moreover, we demonstrate that the contribution of the higher-order torsion, $frac{1}{2}alpha T^2+frac{1}{3}beta T^3$, may afford an interesting physics.
We consider scalar and axial gravitational perturbations of black hole solutions in brane world scenarios. We show that perturbation dynamics is surprisingly similar to the Schwarzschild case with strong indications that the models are stable. Quasinormal modes and late-time tails are discussed. We also study the thermodynamics of these scenarios verifying the universality of Bekensteins entropy bound as well as the applicability of t Hoofts brickwall method.
We present modified cosmological scenarios that arise from the application of the gravity-thermodynamics conjecture, using the Barrow entropy instead of the usual Bekenstein-Hawking one. The former is a modification of the black hole entropy due to quantum-gravitational effects that deform the black-hole horizon by giving it an intricate, fractal structure. We extract modified cosmological equations which contain new extra terms that constitute an effective dark-energy sector, and which coincide with the usual Friedmann equations in the case where the new Barrow exponent acquires its Bekenstein-Hawking value. We present analytical expressions for the evolution of the effective dark energy density parameter, and we show that the universe undergoes through the usual matter and dark-energy epochs. Additionally, the dark-energy equation-of-state parameter is affected by the value of the Barrow deformation exponent and it can lie in the quintessence or phantom regime, or experience the phantom-divide crossing. Finally, at asymptotically large times the universe always results in the de-Sitter solution.
