In this paper, we explore the properties of holographic entanglement entropy (HEE), mutual information (MI) and entanglement of purification (EoP) in holographic Lifshitz theory. These informational quantities exhibit some universal properties of holographic dual field theory. For most configuration parameters and temperatures, these informational quantities change monotonously with the Lifshitz dynamical critical exponent $z$. However, we also observe some non-monotonic behaviors for these informational quantities in some specific spaces of configuration parameters and temperatures. A particularly interesting phenomenon is that a dome-shaped diagram emerges in the behavior of MI vs $z$, and correspondingly a trapezoid-shaped profile appears in that of EoP vs $z$. This means that for some specific configuration parameters and temperatures, the system measured in terms of MI and EoP is entangled only in a certain intermediate range of $z$.
We construct an analytic solution for a one-parameter family of holographic superconductors in asymptotically Lifshitz spacetimes. We utilize this solution to explore various properties of the systems such as (1) the superfluid phase background and the grand canonical potential, (2) the order parameter response function or the susceptibility, (3) the London equation, (4) the background with a superfluid flow or a magnetic field. From these results, we identify the dual Ginzburg-Landau theory including numerical coefficients. Also, the dynamic critical exponent $z_d$ associated with the critical point is given by $z_d=2$ irrespective of the value of the Lifshitz exponent $z$.
We study the information quantities, including the holographic entanglement entropy (HEE), mutual information (MI) and entanglement of purification (EoP), over Gubser-Rocha model. The remarkable property of this model is the zero entropy density at ground state, in term of which we expect to extract novel, even singular informational properties in zero temperature limit. Surprisedly, we do not observe any singular behavior of entanglement-related physical quantities under the zero temperature limit. Nevertheless, we find a peculiar property from Gubser-Rocha model that in low temperature region, the HEE decreases with the increase of temperature, which is contrary to that in most holographic models. We argue that this novel phenomenon is brought by the singular property of the zero temperature limit, of which the analytical verification is present. In addition, we also compare the features of the information quantities in Gubser-Rocha model with those in Reissner-Nordstrom Anti-de Sitter (RN-AdS) black hole model. It is shown that the HEE and MI of Gubser-Rocha model are always larger than those of RN-AdS model, while the EoP behaves in an opposite way. Our results indicate that MI and EoP could have different abilities in describing mixed state entanglement.
In the AdS$_3$/CFT$_2$ correspondence, we find some conformal field theory (CFT) states that have no bulk description by the Ba~nados geometry. We elaborate the constraints for a CFT state to be geometric, i.e., having a dual Ba~nados metric, by comparing the order of central charge of the entanglement/Renyi entropy obtained respectively from the holographic method and the replica trick in CFT. We find that the geometric CFT states fulfill Bohrs correspondence principle by reducing the quantum KdV hierarchy to its classical counterpart. We call the CFT states that satisfy the geometric constraints geometric states, and otherwise non-geometric states. We give examples of both the geometric and non-geometric states, with the latter case including the superposition states and descendant states.
We consider Lifshitz-type scalar theories with explicit breaking of the Lorentz symmetry that, in addition, exhibit anisotropic scaling laws near the ultraviolet fixed point. Using the proper time regularization method on the spatial coordinates only, we derive the regularized form of the one-loop effective potential in such theories. We study the main features of the one-loop effective potential and, also, the RG flow of the scale-dependent potential both in the IR and UV regimes. The beta functions for the couplings are derived.
We study holographic superconductors in a Hov{r}ava-Lifshitz black hole without the condition of the detailed balance. We show that it is easier for the scalar hair to form as the parameter of the detailed balance becomes larger, but harder when the mass of the scalar field larger. We also find that the ratio of the gap frequency in conductivity to the critical temperature, $omega_{g}/T_c$, almost linear decreases with the increase of the balance constant. For $epsilon= 0$ the ratio reduces to Cais result $omega_g/T_capprox 13$ found in the Hov{r}ava-Lifshitz black hole with the condition of the detailed balance, while as $epsilon rightarrow 1$ it tends to Horowitz-Roberts relation $omega_g/T_capprox 8$ obtained in the AdS Schwarzschild black hole. Our result provides a bridge between the results for the Hv{o}rava-Lifshitz theory with the condition of the detailed balance and Einsteins gravity.
