Two Higgs Doublet Models (2HDM) provide a simple framework for new physics models with an extended Higgs sector. The current LHC results, including both direct searches for additional non-Standard Model (SM) Higgs bosons, as well as precision measurements of the SM-like Higgs couplings, already provide strong constraints on the 2HDM parameter spaces. In this paper, we examine those constraints for the neutral scalars in the Type-I and Type-II 2HDM. In addition to the direct search channels with SM final states: $H/A to fbar f, VV, Vh, hh$, we study in particular the exotic decay channels of $H/A to AZ/HZ$ once there is a mass hierarchy between the non-SM Higgses. We found that $H/A to AZ/HZ$ channel has unique sensitivity to the alignment limit region which remains unconstrained by conventional searches and Higgs precision measurements. This mode also extends the reach at intermediate $tanbeta$ for heavy $m_A$ that are not covered by the other direct searches.

The color gauge hyper-multiplet in N=2 supersymmetry consists of the usual N=1 gauge vector/gaugino super-multiplet, joined with a novel gaugino/scalar super-multiplet. Large cross sections are predicted for the production of pairs of the color-octet scalars $sigma$ [sgluons] at the LHC: $gg, qbar{q} to sigmasigma^{ast}$. Single $sigma$ production is possible at one-loop level, but the $g gto sigma$ amplitude vanishes in the limit of degenerate $L$ and $R$ squarks. When kinematically allowed, $sigma$ decays predominantly into two gluinos, whose cascade decays give rise to a burst of eight or more jets together with four LSPs as signature for $sigma$ pair events at the LHC. $sigma$ can also decay into a squark-antisquark pair at tree level. At one-loop level $sigma$ decays into gluons or a $t bar t$ pair are predicted, generating exciting resonance signatures in the final states. The corresponding partial widths are very roughly comparable to that for three body final states mediated by one virtual squark at tree level.
The discrepancy between the measured value and the Standard Model prediction for the muon anomalous magnetic moment is one of the important issues in the particle physics. In this paper, we consider a two Higgs doublet model (2HDM) where the extra Higgs doublet couples to muon and tau in lepton flavor violating (LFV) way and the one-loop correction involving the scalars largely contributes to the muon anomalous magnetic moment. The couplings should be sizable to explain the discrepancy, so that the extra Higgs bosons would dominantly decay into $mutau$ LFV modes, which makes the model testable at the LHC through multi-lepton signatures even though they are produced via the electroweak interaction. We discuss the current status and the future prospect for the extra Higgs searches at the LHC, and demonstrate the reconstruction of the mass spectrum using the multi-lepton events.
Elements of the phenomenology of color-octet scalars (sgluons), as predicted in the hybrid N=1/N=2 supersymmetric model, are discussed in the light of forthcoming experiments at the CERN Large Hadron Collider.
We study the constraints on $tto u$ flavor changing neutral Higgs (FCNH) coupling, and how it may be explored further at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). In the general two Higgs doublet model, such transitions can be induced by a nonzero $rho_{tu}$ Yukawa coupling. We show that such couplings can be constrained by existing searches at the LHC for $m_H$, $m_A$ and, $m_{H^+}$ in the sub-TeV range, where $H$, $A$ and $H^+$ are the exotic $CP$-even, $CP$-odd and charged scalars. We find that a dedicated $ugto t H/tA to t t bar u$ search can probe the available parameter space of $rho_{tu}$ down to a few percent level for $200,mbox{GeV} lesssim m_H,,m_A lesssim 600$ GeV, with discovery possible at high luminosity. Effects of how other extra top Yukawa couplings, such as $rho_{tc}$ and $rho_{tt}$, dilute the sensitivity of the $rho_{tu}$ probe are discussed.
We investigate the predictions of a simple extension of the Standard Model where the Higgs sector is composed of one $SU(2)_L$ doublet and one real triplet. We discuss the general features of the model, including its vacuum structure, theoretical and phenomenological constraints, and expectations for Higgs collider studies. The model predicts the existence of a pair of light charged scalars and, for vanishing triplet vacuum expectation value, contains a cold dark matter candidate. When the latter possibility occurs, the charged scalars are long-lived, leading to a prediction of distinctive single charged track with missing transverse energy or double charged track events at the LHC. The model predicts a significant excess of two-photon events compared to SM expectations due to the presence of a light charged scalar.
