We discuss the Drell-Yan dilepton production using the transverse momentum dependent parton distributions evolved with the Catani-Ciafaloni-Fiorani-Marchesini-Kwiecinski (CCFM-K) equations in the single loop approximation. Such equations are obtained assuming angular ordering of emitted partons (coherence) for $xsim 1$ and transverse momentum ordering for $x ll 1$. This evolution scheme also contains the Collins-Soper-Sterman (CSS) soft gluon resummation. We make a comparison with a broad class of data on transverse momentum spectra of low mass Drell-Yan dileptons.

Production of a forward Drell-Yan lepton pair accompanied by a jet separated by a large rapidity interval is proposed to study the BFKL evolution at the LHC. Several observables to be measured are presented including the azimuthal angle dependence of the lepton pair which allows to determine Drell-Yan structure functions.
We present the production cross section for a lepton-neutrino pair at the Large Hadron Collider computed at next-to-next-to-next-to leading order (N3LO) in QCD perturbation theory. We compute the partonic coefficient functions of a virtual $W^{pm}$ boson at this order. We then use these analytic functions to study the progression of the perturbative series in different observables. In particular, we investigate the impact of the newly obtained corrections on the inclusive production cross section of $W^{pm}$ bosons, as well as on the ratios of the production cross sections for $W^+$, $W^-$ and/or a virtual photon. Finally, we present N3LO predictions for the charge asymmetry at the LHC.
We briefly discuss the collinear factorization formula for the associated production of one particle and a Drell-Yan pair in hadronic collisions. We outline possible applications of the results to three different research areas.
We present the Monte Carlo event generator WINHAC for Drell-Yan processes in proton-proton, proton-antiproton, proton-ion and ion-ion collisions. It features multiphoton radiation within the Yennie-Frautschi-Suura exclusive exponentiation scheme with O(alpha) electroweak corrections for the charged-current (W+/W-) processes and multiphoton radiation generated by PHOTOS for neutral-current (Z+gamma) ones. For the initial-state QCD/QED parton shower and hadronisation it is interfaced with PYTHIA. It includes several options, e.g. for the polarized W-boson production, generation of weighted/unweighted events, etc. WINHAC was cross-checked numerically at the per-mille level with independent Monte Carlo programs, such as HORACE and SANC. It has been used as a basic tool for developing and testing some new methods of precise measurements of the Standard Model parameters at the LHC, in particular the W-boson mass. Recently, it has been applied to simulations of double Drell-Yan processes resulting from double-parton scattering, in order to assess their influence on the Higgs-boson detection at the LHC in its ZZ and W+W- decay channels.

In this talk it is reported on analyses of l p -> l pi+ n and pi- p -> l+ l- n within the handbag approach. It is argued that recent measurements of hard pion production performed by HERMES and CLAS clearly indicate the occurrence of strong contributions from transversely polarized photons. The gamma*T -> pi transitions are described by the transversity GPDs accompanied by twist-3 pion wave functions. The experiments also require strong contributions from the pion pole which can be modeled as a classical one-pion exchange. With these extensions the handbag approach leads to results on cross sections and spin asymmetries in fair agreement with experiment. This approach is also used for an estimate of the partial cross sections for the exclusive Drell-Yan process.
