We study the $e^+e^-togammaomega J/psi$ process using $11.6 ~rm fb^{-1}$ $e^+ e^-$ annihilation data taken at center-of-mass energies from $sqrt{s}=4.008~rm GeV$ to $4.600~rm GeV$ with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring. The $X(3872)$ resonance is observed for the first time in the $omega J/psi$ system with a significance of more than $5sigma$. The relative decay ratio of $X(3872)toomega J/psi$ and $pi^+pi^- J/psi$ is measured to be $mathcal{R}=1.6^{+0.4}_{-0.3}pm0.2$, where the first error is statistical and the second systematic (the same hereafter). The $sqrt{s}$-dependent cross section of $e^+e^-togamma X(3872)$ is also measured and investigated, and it can be described by a single Breit-Wigner resonance, referred to as the $Y(4200)$, with a mass of $4200.6^{+7.9}_{-13.3}pm3.0~{rm MeV}/c^2$ and a width of $115^{+38}_{-26}pm12~{rm MeV}$. In addition, to describe the $omega J/psi$ mass distribution above $3.9~rm GeV/c^2$, we need at least one additional Breit-Wigner resonance, labeled as $X(3915)$, in the fit. The mass and width of the $X(3915)$ are measured to be $3926.4pm2.2pm1.2~rm MeV/c^2$ and $3.8pm7.5pm2.6~rm MeV$, or $3932.6pm8.7pm4.7~rm MeV/c^2$ and $59.7pm15.5pm3.7~rm MeV$, respectively, depending on the fit models. The resonant parameters of the $X(3915)$ agree with those of the $Y(3940)$ in $Bto Komega J/psi$ and of the $X(3915)$ in $gammagammatoomega J/psi$ by the Belle and BABAR experiments within errors.
We present Monte Carlo preliminary results about the feasibility to detect the Chic family in p-p collisions at 14 TeV in the ALICE Central Barrel at CERN LHC. The Chic1 and Chic2 were forced to decay in the channel J/Psi + gamma -> e+ e- + gamma and were merged with a proton-proton non-biased collision. After MonteCarlo transport and simulation of the detector response, the e+, e- and converted gamma were reconstructed and identified in the ALICE ITS, TPC and TRD detectors. Separate signals corresponding to gamma from Chic1 and from Chic2 were observed. The position and relative weight of the fit to gaussians agreed with the input values within the statistical limits. Similar studies will be done for Pb-Pb collisions.
We have measured several branching ratios for $psi^prime$ decay using the data collected by FNAL E835 experiment during year 2000, obtaining ${cal B}(psi^prime to e^+ e^-) = 0.0068pm0.0001pm0.0004$, ${cal B}(psi^prime to J/psi pi^+ pi^-) = 0.292pm0.005pm0.018$, ${cal B}(psi^prime to J/psi pi^0 pi^0) = 0.167pm0.005pm0.014$ and ${cal B}(psi^prime to J/psi eta) = 0.028pm0.002pm0.002$. We also present a measurement of the dipion mass distribution in the decays $psi^prime to J/psi pi pi$.
Based on a sample of (225.3pm2.8)times 10^{6} J/psi events collected with the BESIII detector, the electromagnetic Dalitz decays of J/psi to P e^+e^-(P=eta/eta/pi^0) are studied. By reconstructing the pseudoscalar mesons in various decay modes, the decays J/psi to eta e^+e^-, J/psi to eta e^+e^- and J/psi to pi^0 e^+e^- are observed for the first time. The branching fractions are determined to be mathcal{B}(J/psito eta e^+e^-) = (5.81pm0.16pm0.31)times10^{-5}, mathcal{B}(J/psito eta e^+e^-) = (1.16pm0.07pm0.06)times10^{-5}, and mathcal{B}(J/psito pi^0 e^+e^-)=(7.56pm1.32pm0.50)times10^{-7}, where the first errors are statistical and the second ones systematic.
The products of the electron width of the J/psi meson and the branching fraction of its decays to the lepton pairs were measured using data from the KEDR experiment at the VEPP-4M electron-positron collider. The results are Gamma_{ee}(J/psi)*Br(J/psi->e^+e^-)=(0.3323pm0.0064pm0.0048) keV, Gamma_{ee}(J/psi)*Br(J/psi->mu^+mu^-)=(0.3318pm0.0052pm0.0063) keV. Their combinations Gamma_{ee}times(Gamma_{ee}+Gamma_{mumu})/Gamma=(0.6641pm0.0082pm0.0100) keV, Gamma_{ee}/Gamma_{mumu}=1.002pm0.021pm0.013 can be used to improve theaccuracy of the leptonic and full widths and test leptonic universality. Assuming emu universality and using the world average value of the lepton branching fraction, we also determine the leptonic Gamma_{ll}=5.59pm0.12 keV and total Gamma=94.1pm2.7 keV widths of the J/psi meson.
We report a study of $Bto (J/psi gamma) K$ and $Bto (psi gamma)K$ decay modes using $772times 10^{6}$ $Bbar{B}$ events collected at the Upsilon(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB energy-asymmetric $e^+ e^-$ collider. We observe $X(3872) to J/psi gamma$ and report the first evidence for $chi_{c2} to J/psi gamma$ in $Bto (X_{cbar{c}}gamma) K$ decays, while in a search for $X(3872) to psi gamma$ no significant signal is found. We measure the branching fractions, $mathcal{B}(B^{pm} to X(3872) K^{pm}) mathcal{B}(X(3872) to J/psigamma)$ $=$ $(1.78^{+0.48}_{-0.44}pm 0.12)times 10^{-6}$, $mathcal{B} (B^{pm} tochi_{c2} K^{pm})$$=$ $(1.11^{+0.36}_{-0.34} pm 0.09) times 10^{-5}$, $mathcal{B}(B^{pm} to X(3872) K^{pm}) mathcal{B}(X(3872) to psigamma)$ $<$ $3.45times 10^{-6}$ (upper limit at 90% C.L.) and also provide upper limits for other searches.
