We prove the split property for any finite helicity free quantum fields. Finite helicity Poincare representations extend to the conformal group and the conformal covariance plays an essential role in the argument. The split property is ensured by the trace class condition: Tr (exp(-s L_0)) is finite for all s>0 where L_0 is the conformal Hamiltonian of the Mobius covariant restriction of the net on the time axis. We extend the argument for the scalar case presented in [7]. We provide the direct sum decomposition into irreducible representations of the conformal extension of any helicity-h representation to the subgroup of transformations fixing the time axis. Our analysis provides new relations among finite helicity representations and suggests a new construction for representations and free quantum fields with non-zero helicity.

We show that the Schrodinger operator associated with a physical system over a local field can be approximated in a very strong sense by finite Schrodinger operators. Some striking numerical results are included at the end of the article.
A system of coupled kinetic transport equations for the Wigner distributions of a free variable mass Klein-Gordon field is derived. This set of equations is formally equivalent to the full wave equation for electromagnetic waves in nonlinear dispersive media, thus allowing for the description of broadband radiation-matter interactions and the associated instabilities. The standard results for the classical wave action are recovered in the short wavelength limit of the generalized Wigner-Moyal formalism for the wave equation.
We give a stochastic proof of the finite approximability of a class of Schru007fodinger operators over a local field, thereby completing a program of establishing in a non-Archimedean setting corresponding results and methods from the Archimedean (real) setting. A key ingredient of our proof is to show that Brownian motion over a local field can be obtained as a limit of random walks over finite grids. Also, we prove a Feynman-Kac formula for the finite systems, and show that the propagator at the finite level converges to the propagator at the infinite level.

Models of quantum and classical particles on the d-dimensional cubic lattice with pair interparticle interactions are considered. The classical model is obtained from the corresponding quantum one when the reduced physical mass of the particle tends to infinity. For these models, it is proposed to define the convergence of the Euclidean Gibbs states, when the reduced mass tends to infinity, by the weak convergence of the corresponding Gibbs specifications, determined by conditional Gibbs measures. In fact it is proved that all conditional Gibbs measures of the quantum model weakly converge to the conditional Gibbs measures of the classical model. A similar convergence of the periodic Gibbs measures and, as a result, of the order parameters, for such models with the pair interactions possessing the translation invariance, has also been proven.

A lemma stated by Ke Li in [arXiv:1208.1400] has been used in e.g. [arXiv:1510.04682,arXiv:1706.04590,arXiv:1612.01464,arXiv:1308.6503,arXiv:1602.08898] for various tasks in quantum hypothesis testing, data compression with quantum side information or quantum key distribution. This lemma was originally proven in finite dimension, with a direct extension to type I von Neumann algebras. Here we show that the use of modular theory allows to give more transparent meaning to the objects constructed by the lemma, and to prove it for general von Neumann algebras. This yields immediate generalizations of e.g. [arXiv:1510.04682].
