The energy dependence of the cross sections of $pbar p$, $nbar n$, and meson production in $e^+e^-$ annihilation in the vicinity of the $pbar p$ and $nbar n$ thresholds is studied. The proton-neutron mass difference and the $pbar p$ Coulomb interaction are taken into account. The values of the cross sections are very sensitive to the parameters of the optical potential. It is shown that the commonly accepted factorization approach for the account of the Coulomb interaction does not work well enough in the vicinity of the threshold due to the finite size of the optical potential well.

Using recent BABAR, CMD-3 and SND data, the sum of $e^+e^- to 3(pi^+pi^-), 2(pi^+pi^-pi^0), pbar{p}, nbar{n}$ cross sections is obtained. Unlike $e^+e^- to 3(pi^+pi^-)$ and $e^+e^- to 2(pi^+pi^-pi^0)$ processes, no structures in total cross section are found near the $Nbar{N}$ threshold within the limits of measurement errors.
We use the Paris nucleon-antinucleon optical potential for explanation of experimental data in the process $e^+e^- rightarrow pbar p$ near threshold. It turns out that final-state interaction due to Paris optical potential allows us to reproduce available experimental data. It follows from our consideration that the isoscalar form factor is much larger than the isovector one.
We measure the inclusive production cross sections of hyperons and charmed baryons from $e^+e^-$ annihilation using a 800 fb$^{-1}$ data sample taken near the $Upsilon(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+ e^-$ collider. The feed-down contributions from heavy particles are subtracted using our data, and the direct production cross sections are presented for the first time. The production cross sections divided by the number of spin states for $S=-1$ hyperons follow an exponential function with a single slope parameter except for the $Sigma(1385)^+$ resonance. Suppression for $Sigma(1385)^+$ and $Xi(1530)^0$ hyperons is observed. Among the production cross sections of charmed baryons, a factor of three difference for $Lambda_c^+$ states over $Sigma_c$ states is observed. This observation suggests a diquark structure for these baryons.
The E12-14-012 experiment, performed in Jefferson Lab Hall A, has collected exclusive electron-scattering data (e,e$^prime$p) in parallel kinematics using natural argon and natural titanium targets. Here, we report the first results of the analysis of the data set corresponding to beam energy of 2,222 MeV, electron scattering angle 21.5 deg, and proton emission angle -50 deg. The differential cross sections, measured with $sim$4% uncertainty, have been studied as a function of missing energy and missing momentum, and compared to the results of Monte Carlo simulations, obtained from a model based on the Distorted Wave Impulse Approximation.
In this paper we summarize our recent results for low energy associated charmonium production cross sections, using 1) crossing symmetry, and 2) an explicit hadronic model. These predictions are of relevance to the planned charmonium and charmonium hybrid production experiment PANDA at GSI.
