In this paper, we consider compact free boundary constant mean curvature surfaces immersed in a mean convex body of the Euclidean space or in the unit sphere. We prove that the Morse index is bounded from below by a linear function of the genus and number of boundary components.

Let $C$ be a strictly convex domain in a $3$-dimensional Riemannian manifold with sectional curvature bounded above by a constant and let $Sigma$ be a constant mean curvature surface with free boundary in $C$. We provide a pinching condition on the length of the traceless second fundamental form on $Sigma$ which guarantees that the surface is homeomorphic to either a disk or an annulus. Furthermore, under the same pinching condition, we prove that if $C$ is a geodesic ball of $3$-dimensional space forms, then $Sigma$ is either a spherical cap or a Delaunay surface.
In 1968, Simons introduced the concept of index for hypersurfaces immersed into the Euclidean sphere S^{n+1}. Intuitively, the index measures the number of independent directions in which a given hypersurface fails to minimize area. The earliest results regarding the index focused on the case of minimal hypersurfaces. Many such results established lower bounds for the index. More recently, however, mathematicians have generalized these results to hypersurfaces with constant mean curvature. In this paper, we consider hypersurfaces of constant mean curvature immersed into the sphere and give lower bounds for the index under new assumptions about the immersed manifold.

We first present a warped product manifold with boundary to show the non-uniqueness of the positive constant scalar curvature and positive constant boundary mean curvature equation. Next, we construct a smooth counterexample to show that the compactness of the set of lower energy solutions to the above equation fails when the dimension of the manifold is not less than $62$.
In this paper, we prove a classification for complete embedded constant weighted mean curvature hypersurfaces $Sigmasubsetmathbb{R}^{n+1}$. We characterize the hyperplanes and generalized round cylinders by using an intrinsic property on the norm of the second fundamental form. Furthermore, we prove an equivalence of properness, finite weighted volume and exponential volume growth for submanifolds with weighted mean curvature of at most linear growth.

We study the problem of deforming a Riemannian metric to a conformal one with nonzero constant scalar curvature and nonzero constant boundary mean curvature on a compact manifold of dimension $ngeq 3$. We prove the existence of such conformal metrics in the cases of $n=6,7$ or the manifold is spin and some other remaining ones left by Escobar. Furthermore, in the positive Yamabe constant case, by normalizing the scalar curvature to be $1$, there exists a sequence of conformal metrics such that their constant boundary mean curvatures go to $+infty$.
