The concept of z-scaling previously developed for analysis of inclusive reactions in proton-proton collisions is applied for description of processes with polarized particles. Hypothesis of self-similarity of the proton spin structure is discussed. The possibility of extracting information on spin-dependent fractal dimensions of hadrons and fragmentation process from the cross sections and asymmetries is justified. The double longitudinal spin asymmetry A_{LL} of jet and pi0-meson production and the coefficient of polarization transfer D_{LL} measured in proton-proton collisions at sqrt s = 200 GeV at RHIC are analyzed in the framework of z-scaling. The spin-dependent fractal dimension of proton is estimated.

We introduce an experimentally accessible network representation for many-body quantum states based on entanglement between all pairs of its constituents. We illustrate the power of this representation by applying it to a paradigmatic spin chain model, the XX model, and showing that it brings to light new phenomena. The analysis of these entanglement networks reveals that the gradual establishment of quasi-long range order is accompanied by a symmetry regarding single-spin concurrence distributions, as well as by instabilities in the network topology. Moreover, we identify the existence of emergent entanglement structures, spatially localised communities enforced by the global symmetry of the system that can be revealed by model-agnostic community detection algorithms. The network representation further unveils the existence of structural classes and a cyclic self-similarity in the state, which we conjecture to be intimately linked to the community structure. Our results demonstrate that the use of tools and concepts from complex network theory enables the discovery, understanding, and description of new physical phenomena even in models studied for decades.
The experimental data on inclusive cross sections of jet, direct photon and hadron production in pp/antipp and AA collisions at RHIC and Tevatron are analyzed in the framework of z-scaling. Results of analysis are compared with data obtained at ISR, SppS and Tevatron. The properties of z-presentation of experimental data are verified. Physical interpretation of the scaling function and variable z is discussed. The locality, self-similarity and fractality are argued to reflect the general structure of the colliding objects, interaction of their constituents and particle formation at small scales. The obtained results suggest that the z-scaling may be used as a tool for searching for new physics phenomena beyond Standard Model in hadron and nucleus collisions at high transverse momentum and high multiplicity at U70, RHIC, Tevatron and LHC.
We show how clustering as a general hierarchical dynamical process proceeds via a sequence of inverse cascades to produce self-similar scaling, as an intermediate asymptotic, which then truncates at the largest spatial scales. We show how this model can provide a general explanation for the behavior of several models that has been described as ``self-organized critical, including forest-fire, sandpile, and slider-block models.
Motivated by the present extensive RHIC (BNL) spin program and further PAX project at FAIR, we study the possibility of explicit reconstruction of full set of helicity amplitudes by joint consideration of elastic proton-proton and proton-antiproton scattering. Procedure is based on the derivative relations for the helicity amplitudes, explicit parametrization of the leading spin non-flip amplitudes and crossing - symmetry relations. Some preliminary results are presented for the PAX energies to show the expected magnitudes of the spin dependent observables as a functions of invariant Mandelstams variables $s$ and $t$.

The spin alignment matrix element rho_{00} for the vector mesons K^{*0} and phi(1020) has been measured in RHIC at central rapidities. These measurements are consistent with the absence of polarization with respect to the reaction plane in mid-central Au + Au collisions whereas, when measured with respect to the production plane in the same reactions and in p + p collisions, a non-vanishing and p_perp-dependent rho_{00} is found. We show that this behavior can be understood in a simple model of vector meson production where the spin of their constituent quarks is oriented during hadronization as the result of Thomas precession.
