We present the electromagnetic gauge field interpolation between the instant form and the front form of the relativistic Hamiltonian dynamics and extend our interpolation of the scattering amplitude presented in the simple scalar field theory to the case of the electromagnetic gauge field theory with the scalar fermion fields known as the sQED theory. We find that the Coulomb gauge in the instant form dynamics (IFD) and the light-front gauge in the front form dynamics, or the light-front dynamics (LFD), are naturally linked by the unified general physical gauge that interpolates between these two forms of dynamics and derive the spin-1 polarization vector for the photon that can be generally applicable for any interpolation angle. Corresponding photon propagator for an arbitrary interpolation angle is found and examined in terms of the gauge field polarization and the interpolating time ordering. Using these results, we calculate the lowest-order scattering processes for an arbitrary interpolation angle in sQED. We provide an example of breaking the reflection symmetry under the longitudinal boost, $P^z leftrightarrow -P^z$, for the time-ordered scattering amplitude in any interpolating dynamics except the LFD and clarify the confusion in the prevailing notion of the equivalence between the infinite momentum frame (IMF) and the LFD. The particular correlation found in our previous analysis of the scattering amplitude in the simple scalar field theory, coined as the J-shaped correlation, between the total momentum of the system and the interpolation angle persists in the present analysis of the sQED scattering amplitude. We discuss the singular behavior of this correlation in conjunction with the zero-mode issue in the LFD.

This contribution briefly illustrates preliminary calculations of the electromagnetic form factors of $^3$He and $^3$H, obtained within the Light-front Relativistic Hamiltonian Dynamics, adopting i) a Poincare covariant current operator, without dynamical two-body currents, and ii) realistic nuclear bound states with $S$, $P$ and $D$ waves. The kinematical region of few $(GeV/c)^2$, relevant for forthcoming TJLAB experiments, has been investigated, obtaining possible signatures of relativistic effects for $Q^2>2.5 ~(GeV/c)^2$.

We present a study of the electromagnetic structure of the nucleons with constituent quark models in the framework of relativistic quantum mechanics. In particular, we address the construction of spectator-model currents in the instant and point forms. Corresponding results for the elastic nucleon electromagnetic form factors as well as charge radii and magnetic moments are presented. We also compare results obtained by different realistic nucleon wave functions stemming from alternative constituent quark models. Finally, we discuss the theoretical uncertainties that reside in the construction of spectator-model transition operators.
Asymptotic freedom of gluons in QCD is obtained in the leading terms of their renormalized Hamiltonian in the Fock space, instead of considering virtual Greens functions or scattering amplitudes. Namely, we calculate the three-gluon interaction term in the front-form Hamiltonian for effective gluons in the Minkowski space-time using the renormalization group procedure for effective particles (RGPEP), with a new generator. The resulting three-gluon vertex is a function of the scale parameter, $s$, that has an interpretation of the size of effective gluons. The corresponding Hamiltonian running coupling constant, $g_lambda$, depending on the associated momentum scale $lambda = 1/s$, is calculated in the series expansion in powers of $g_0 = g_{lambda_0}$ up to the terms of third order, assuming some small value for $g_0$ at some large $lambda_0$. The result exhibits the same finite sensitivity to small-$x$ regularization as the one obtained in an earlier RGPEP calculation, but the new calculation is simpler than the earlier one because of a simpler generator. This result establishes a degree of universality for pure-gauge QCD in the RGPEP.
We analyse various $U(1)_{EM}$ form factors of mesons at strong coupling in an $mathcal{N}=2$ flavored version of $mathcal{N}=4$ $SYM$ which becomes conformal in the UV. The quark mass breaks the conformal symmetry in the IR and generates a mass gap. In the appropriate limit, the gravity dual is described in terms of probe $D7$-branes in $AdS_5times S^5$. By studying the $D7$ fluctuations we find the suitable terms in a meson effective theory which allow us to compute the desired form factors, namely the $gammapirho$ and $gamma f_0rho$ transition form factors. At large $q^2$ we find perfect agreement with the naive parton model counting, which is a consequence of the conformal nature of both QCD and our model in the UV. By using the same tools, we can compute the $gamma^*gamma^*pi$ form factor. However this channel is more subtle and comparisons to the QCD result are more involved.

We use recent data on K^+ -> pi^+ e^+ e^-, together with known values for the pion form factor, to derive experimental values for the kaon electromagnetic form factor for 0 < q^2 < 0.125 (GeV/c)^2. The results are then compared with the predictions of the Vector Meson Dominance model, which gives a good fit to the experimental results.
