We search for the M1 radiative transition psi(3686) to gammaeta_{c}(2S) by reconstructing the exclusive eta_{c}(2S) to K_{S}^{0}K^{pm}pi^{mp}pi^{+}pi^{-} decay using 1.06 times 10^8 psi(3686) events collected with the BESIII detector. The signal is observed with a statistical significance of greater than 4 standard deviations. The measured mass of the eta_{c}(2S) is 3646.9 pm 1.6(stat) pm 3.6(syst) MeV/c^2, and the width is 9.9 pm 4.8(stat) pm 2.9(syst) MeV/c^2. The product branching fraction is measured to be B(psi(3686) to gammaeta_{c}(2S)) times B(eta_{c}(2S) to K_{S}^{0}K^{pm}pi^{mp}pi^{+}pi^{-}) = (7.03 pm 2.10(stat) pm 0.70(syst)) times 10^{-6}. This measurement complements a previous BESIII measurement of psi(3686) to gammaeta_{c}(2S) with eta_{c}(2S) to K_{S}^{0} K^{pm}pi^{mp} and K^{+}K^{-}pi^{0}.

Using $5.2 mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ $e^+ e^-$ annihilation data samples collected with the BESIII detector, we measure the cross sections of $e^+e^- to K_S^0 K^pm pi^mp pi^0$ and $K_{S}^{0}K^{pm}pi^{mp}eta$ at center-of-mass energies from $3.90$ to $4.60$ GeV. In addition, we search for the charmonium-like resonance $Y(4260)$ decays into $K_{S}^{0}K^{pm}pi^{mp}pi^0$ and $K_{S}^{0}K^{pm}pi^{mp}eta$, and $Z_c^{0,pm}(3900)$ decays into $K_{S}^{0}K^{pm}pi^{mp,0}$ and $K_{S}^{0}K^{pm}eta$. Corresponding upper limits are provided since no clear signal is observed.
Decays of the form $B^{0}_{(s)}rightarrow J/psi K_{{rm S}}^{0} h^+ h^{left(primeright) -}$ ($h^{(prime)} = K, pi$) are searched for in proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $1.0 , {rm fb}^{-1}$ recorded with the LHCb detector. The first observation of the $B^{0}_{s}rightarrow J/psi K_{{rm S}}^{0} K^{pm} pi^{mp}$ decay is reported, with significance in excess of 10 standard deviations. The $B^{0}rightarrow J/psi K_{{rm S}}^{0} K^{+} K^{-}$ decay is also observed for the first time. The branching fraction of $B^{0}rightarrow J/psi K_{{rm S}}^{0} pi^{+} pi^{-}$ is determined, to significantly better precision than previous measurements, using $B^0 rightarrow J/psi K_{{rm S}}^{0}$ as a normalisation channel. Branching fractions and upper limits of the other $B^{0}_{(s)}rightarrow J/psi K_{{rm S}}^{0} h^+ h^{left(primeright) -}$ modes are determined relative to that of the $B^{0}rightarrow J/psi K_{{rm S}}^{0} pi^{+} pi^{-}$ decay.
Amplitude models are constructed to describe the resonance structure of ${D^{0}to K^{-}pi^{+}pi^{+}pi^{-}}$ and ${D^{0} to K^{+}pi^{-}pi^{-}pi^{+}}$ decays using $pp$ collision data collected at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV with the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3.0mathrm{fb}^{-1}$. The largest contributions to both decay amplitudes are found to come from axial resonances, with decay modes $D^{0} to a_1(1260)^{+} K^{-}$ and $D^{0} to K_1(1270/1400)^{+} pi^{-}$ being prominent in ${D^{0}to K^{-}pi^{+}pi^{+}pi^{-}}$ and $D^{0}to K^{+}pi^{-}pi^{-}pi^{+}$, respectively. Precise measurements of the lineshape parameters and couplings of the $a_1(1260)^{+}$, $K_1(1270)^{-}$ and $K(1460)^{-}$ resonances are made, and a quasi model-independent study of the $K(1460)^{-}$ resonance is performed. The coherence factor of the decays is calculated from the amplitude models to be $R_{K3pi} = 0.459pm 0.010,(mathrm{stat}) pm 0.012,(mathrm{syst}) pm 0.020,(mathrm{model})$, which is consistent with direct measurements. These models will be useful in future measurements of the unitary-triangle angle $gamma$ and studies of charm mixing and $C!P$ violation.
A study of $B^{0}_{s} to eta_{c} phi$ and $B^{0}_{s} to eta_{c} pi^{+}pi^{-}$ decays is performed using $pp$ collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0$,rm fb^{-1}$, collected with the LHCb detector in Run~1 of the LHC. The observation of the decay $B^{0}_{s} to eta_{c} phi$ is reported, where the $eta_{c}$ meson is reconstructed in the $pbar p$, $K^+K^-pi^+pi^-$, $pi^+pi^-pi^+pi^-$ and $K^+K^-K^+K^-$ decay modes and the $phi(1020)$ in the $K^+ K^-$ decay mode. The decay $B^{0}_{s} to J/psi phi$ is used as a normalisation channel. Evidence is also reported for the decay $B^{0}_{s} to eta_{c} pi^{+}pi^{-}$, where the $eta_{c}$ meson is reconstructed in the $pbar p$ decay mode, using the decay $B^{0}_{s} to J/psi pi^+ pi^-$ as a normalisation channel. The measured branching fractions are begin{eqnarray*} {mathcal B (B^{0}_{s} to eta_{c} phi)} &=& left(5.01 pm 0.53 pm 0.27 pm 0.63 right) times 10^{-4} ,, onumber {mathcal B (B^{0}_{s} to eta_{c} pi^+ pi^-)} &=& left(1.76 pm 0.59 pm 0.12 pm 0.29 right) times 10^{-4} ,, end{eqnarray*} where in each case the first uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic and the third uncertainty is due to the limited knowledge of the external branching fractions.
Using a sample of $448.1times10^{6}$ $psi(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector, a search for the isospin violating decay $eta_{c}topi^{+}pi^{-}pi^{0}$ via $psi(3686)togammaeta_{c}$ is presented. No signal is observed, and the upper limit on $mathcal{B}(psi(3686)to gammaeta_{c}to gammapi^{+}pi^{-}pi^{0} )$ is determined to be $1.6times10^{-6}$ at the $90%$ confidence level. In addition, a search for $eta(1405)to f_{0}(980)pi^{0}$ in $psi(3686)$ radiative decays is performed. No signal is observed, and the branching fraction $mathcal{B}(psi(3686)togammaeta(1405)to gamma f_{0}(980)pi^{0}togamma pi^+pi^-pi^0 )$ is calculated to be less than $ 5.0times10^{-7}$ at the $90%$ confidence level.
