This letter is concerned with the study of the $K^-_{stop}Arightarrow pi^pmSigma^mp A$ reaction in p-shell nuclei, i.e., $^{6,7}Li$, $^9Be$, $^{13}C$ and $^{16}O$. The $pi^pmSigma^mp / K^-_{stop}$ emission rates are reported as a function of $A$. These rates are discussed in comparison with previous findings. The ratio $pi^-Sigma^+/pi^+Sigma^-$ in p-shell nuclei is found to depart largely from that on hydrogen, which provides support for large in-medium effects possibly generated by the sub-threshold $Lambda(1405)$. The continuum momentum spectra of prompt pions and free sigmas are also discussed as well as the $pi^pmSigma^mp$ missing mass behavior and the link with the reaction mechanism. The apparatus used for the investigation is the FINUDA spectrometer operating at the DA$Phi$NE $phi$-factory (LNF-INFN, Italy).

The reactions $gamma p rightarrow K^{+}Sigma^{pm}pi^{mp}$ were studied with the SAPHIR detector using a tagged photon beam at the electron stretcher facility ELSA in Bonn. The decays $Sigma^{-} rightarrow npi^{-}$ and $Sigma^{+} rightarrow npi^{+}, ppi^0$ were fully reconstructed. Reaction cross sections were measured as a function of the photon energy from threshold up to $2.6,$GeV with considerably improved statistics compared to a previous bubble chamber measurement. The cross sections rise monotonously with increasing photon energy. The two-particle mass distributions of $Sigma^{pm}pi^{mp}$ and $K^+pi^-$ show substantial production of resonant states.
Using data samples collected with the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies $sqrt{s} = 4.23, 4.26, 4.36,$ and $4.42$~rm{GeV}, we measure the branching fractions of $eta_cto K^+K^-pi^0$, $K^0_S K^{pm}pi^{mp}$, $2(pi^+pi^-pi^0)$, and $p bar{p}$, via the process $e^+e^-topi^+pi^-h_c$, $h_ctogammaeta_c$. The corresponding results are $(1.15pm0.12pm0.10)%$, $(2.60pm0.21pm0.20)%$, $(15.2pm1.8pm1.7)%$, and $(0.120pm0.026pm0.015)%$, respectively. Here the first uncertainties are statistical, and the second ones systematic. Additionally, the charged track multiplicity of $eta_c$ decays is measured for the first time.

The production of neutron rich $Lambda$-hypernuclei via the ($K^-_stop$,$pi^+$) reaction has been studied using data collected with the FINUDA spectrometer at the DA$Phi$NE $phi$-factory (LNF). The analysis of the inclusive $pi^+$ momentum spectra is presented and an upper limit for the production of $^6_Lambda$H and $^7_Lambda$H from $^6$Li and $^7$Li, is assessed for the first time.

Correlated $Lambda d$ pairs emitted after the absorption of negative kaons at rest $K^{-}_{stop}Ato Lambda d A$ in light nuclei $^6Li$ and $^{12}C$ are studied. $Lambda$-hyperons and deuterons are found to be preferentially emitted in opposite directions. The $Lambda d$ invariant mass spectrum of $^6Li$ shows a bump whose mass is 3251$pm$6 MeV/c$^2$. The bump mass (binding energy), width and yield are reported. The appearance of a bump is discussed in the realm of the [$bar{K}3N$] clustering process in nuclei. The experiment was performed with the FINUDA spectrometer at DA$Phi$NE (LNF).
The Theta+ was searched for via the K+p -> pi+X reaction using the 1.2 GeV/c K+ beam at the K6 beam line of the KEK-PS 12 GeV Proton Synchrotron. In the missing mass spectrum of the K+p -> pi+X reaction, no clear peak structure was observed. Therefore a 90 % C.L. upper limit of 3.5 ub/sr was derived for the differential cross section averaged over 2degree to 22degree in the laboratory frame of the K+p -> pi+Theta+ reaction. This upper limit is much smaller than the theoretical calculation for the t-channel process where a K0* is exchanged. From the present result, either the t-channel process is excluded or the coupling constant of g_{K*NTheta} is quite small.
