Rarita-Schwinger (RS) quantum free field is reexamined in the context of deformation quantization. It is found out that the subsidiary condition does not introduce any change either in the Wigner function or in other aspects of the deformation quantization formalism, in relation to the Dirac field case. This happens because the vector structure of the RS field imposes constraints on the space of wave function solutions and not on the operator structure. The RS propagator was also calculated within this formalism.

We propose a way to encode acceleration directly into quantum fields, establishing a new class of fields. Accelerated quantum fields, as we have named them, have some very interesting properties. The most important is that they provide a mathematically consistent way to quantize space-time in the same way that energy and momentum are quantized in standard quantum field theories.
We consider the theory of Rarita-Schwinger field interacting with a field with spin 1/2, in the case of finite temperature, chemical potential and vorticity, and calculate the chiral vortical effect for spin 3/2. We have clearly demonstrated the role of interaction with the spin 1/2 field, the contribution of the terms with which to CVE is 6. Since the contribution from the Rarita-Schwinger field is -1, the overall coefficient in CVE is 6-1=5, which corresponds to the recent prediction of a gauge chiral anomaly for spin 3/2. The obtained values for the coefficients $mu^2$ and $T^2$ are proportional to each other, but not proportional to the spin, which indicates a possible new universality between the temperature-related and the chemical potential-related vortical effects. The results obtained allow us to speculate about the relationship between the gauge and gravitational chiral anomalies.

In this review an overview on some recent developments in deformation quantization is given. After a general historical overview we motivate the basic definitions of star products and their equivalences both from a mathematical and a physical point of view. Then we focus on two topics: the Morita classification of star product algebras and convergence issues which lead to the nuclear Weyl algebra.

In this letter we study the Aharonov-Bohm problem for a spin-1/2 particle in the quantum deformed framework generated by the $kappa$-Poincar{e}-Hopf algebra. We consider the nonrelativistic limit of the $kappa$-deformed Dirac equation and use the spin-dependent term to impose an upper bound on the magnitude of the deformation parameter $varepsilon$. By using the self-adjoint extension approach, we examine the scattering and bound state scenarios. After obtaining the scattering phase shift and the $S$-matrix, the bound states energies are obtained by analyzing the pole structure of the latter. Using a recently developed general regularization prescription [Phys. Rev. D. textbf{85}, 041701(R) (2012)], the self-adjoint extension parameter is determined in terms of the physics of the problem. For last, we analyze the problem of helicity conservation.

The inclusion of non-Abelian U(N) internal charges (other than the electric charge) into Twistor Theory is accomplished through the concept of colored twistors (ctwistors for short) transforming under the colored conformal symmetry U(2N,2N). In particular, we are interested in 2N-ctwistors describing colored spinless conformal massive particles with phase space U(2N,2N)/[U(2N)xU(2N)]. Penrose formulas for incidence relations are generalized to N>1. We propose U(2N)-gauge invariant Lagrangians for 2N-ctwistors and we quantize them through a bosonic representation, interpreting quantum states as particle-hole excitations above the ground state. The connection between the corresponding Hilbert (Fock-like with constraints) space and the carrier space of a discrete series representation of U(2N,2N) is established through a coherent space (holomorphic) representation.
