We report results on J/psi-hadron azimuthal angular correlations in 200 GeV p+p collision in the STAR experiment at RHIC. The extracted B-hadron feed-down contribution to inclusive J/psi yield is found to be 10-25% in 4<p_T<12 GeV/c and has no significant center-of-mass energy dependence from RHIC to LHC. The p_T spectrum of charged hadron associated with high-p_T J/psi triggers on the away side is found to be consistent with that from di-hadron correlations. J/psi signal from partially produced Au+Au 39 GeV data will also be presented to demonstrate STARs J/psi capability at RHIC low energy run.

The preliminary results of J/psi spectra at high transverse momentum (5<p_T<14 GeV/c) in p+p and Cu+Cu collisions at s_NN = 200 GeV are reported. The nuclear modification factor is measured to be 0.9+/-0.2 at p_T>5 GeV/c. The correlations between J/psi and charged hadrons are also studied in p+p collisions to understand the J/psi production mechanism at high p_T.

The results on J/psi pT spectra in 200 GeV p+p and Au+Au collisions at STAR with pT in the range of 3-10 GeV/c are presented. Nuclear modification factor of high-pT J/psi is found to be consistent with no suppression in peripheral Au+Au collisions and significantly smaller than unity in central Au+Au collisions. The J/psi elliptic flow is measured to be consistent with no flow at pT < 10 GeV/c in 20-60% Au+Au collisions.
The PHENIX experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider has measured the differential cross section, mean transverse momentum, mean transverse momentum squared of inclusive $J/psi$ and cross-section ratio of $psi(2S)$ to $J/psi$ at forward rapidity in pp collisions at sqrts = 510 GeV via the dimuon decay channel. Comparison is made to inclusive $J/psi$ cross sections measured at sqrts = 200 GeV and 2.76--13 TeV. The result is also compared to leading-order nonrelativistic QCD calculations coupled to a color-glass-condensate description of the low-$x$ gluons in the proton at low transverse momentum ($p_T$) and to next-to-leading order nonrelativistic QCD calculations for the rest of the $p_T$ range. These calculations overestimate the data at low $p_T$. While consistent with the data within uncertainties above $approx3$ GeV/$c$, the calculations are systematically below the data. The total cross section times the branching ratio is BR $dsigma^{J/psi}_{pp}/dy (1.2<|y|<2.2, 0<p_T<10~mbox{GeV/$c$}) =$ 54.3 $pm$ 0.5 (stat) $pm$ 5.5 (syst) nb.

The J/psi is considered to be among the most important probes for the deconfined quark gluon plasma (QGP) created by relativistic heavy ion collisions. While the J/psi is thought to dissociate in the QGP by Debye color screening, there are competing effects from cold nuclear matter (CNM), feed-downs from excited charmonia (chi_c and psi) and bottom quarks, and regeneration from uncorrelated charm quarks. Measurements that can provide information to disentangle these effects are presented in this paper.
We consider the J/psi photo-production data collected at HERA in the light of next-to-leading order predictions for the color-singlet yield and polarization. We find that, while the shapes of inclusive distributions in the transverse momentum and inelasticity are well reproduced, the experimental rates are larger than those given by the color-singlet contribution alone. Furthermore, the next-to-leading order calculation predicts the J/psis to be mostly longitudinally polarized at high transverse momentum in contrast with the trend of the preliminary data from the ZEUS collaboration.
