The first stage of the proposed polarization program SPASCHARM includes the measurements of the single-spin asymmetry (SSA) in exclusive and inclusive reactions with production of stable hadrons and the light meson and baryon resonances. In this study we foresee of using the variety of the unpolarized beams (pions, kaons, protons and antiprotons) in the energy range of 30-60 GeV. The polarized proton and deuteron targets will be used for revealing the flavor and isotopic spin dependencies of the polarization phenomena. The neutral and charged particles in the final state will be detected.

The new polarization program SPASCHARM is being prepared in Protvino. The program has two stages. The first stage is dedicated to single-spin asymmetries in the production of miscellaneous light resonances with the use of 34 GeV $pi^-$-beam. Inclusive and exclusive reactions will be studied simultaneously. The second stage is dedicated to single-spin and double-spin asymmetries in charmonium production with the use of 70 GeV polarized proton beam which will allow us to understand charmonium hadronic production mechanism and make gluon polarization $Delta g(x)$ extraction at large $x$.
The article presents an overview of the results obtained at U-70 accelerator of IHEP to use bent crystals for beam control of high energy protons. Considerable attention is paid to practical application of crystals to create new modes of beam extraction from the accelerator to ensure experiments on high energy physics. It was shown that with the crystal deflectors the efficiency reached ~ 90% with intensity up to 10^12 protons per cycle of U-70. The results of experiments on the use of crystals to enhance the effectiveness of the absorption of the unused beam, as well as the use of crystals for collimation of beam halo are presented. Perspectives to use of bent crystals to extract low energy light ions from U-70 are also discussed.
The new results of using short (2-4mm) bent crystals for extraction and collimation of proton beam at IHEP 70 Gev proton synchrotron are reported. A broad range of energies from 6 to 65 GeV has been studied in the same crystal collimation set-up. The efficiency of extraction more than 85% and intensity more than 10E12 were obtained by using crystal with the length 2-mm and the angle 1 mrad. The new regime of extraction is applied now at the accelerator to deliver the beam for different experimental setups within the range of intensity 10E7-10E12ppp.
This paper presents the physical background for particle extraction from IHEP accelerator using short bent silicon crystals, analyses the results of the studies, considers in detail the regime of simultaneous work of crystal extraction and several internal targets. It is experimentally shown that the use of short crystals allows the extraction of beams with intensity of 10e12 proton/cycle with efficiency of 85%.
The only comparative study of the inclusive pion single-spin asymmetries produced in the interactions of the polarized protons and antiprotons in collisions with unpolarized proton was carried out at E-704 experiment. Significant asymmetries were found at large $x_{F}$ and middle $p_{T}$, $pi^{+}$ and $pi^{0}$ asymmetries have positive signs while $pi^{-}$ has negative one in the $p^{uparrow}+p$ collisions, while in the $bar{p}^{uparrow}+p$ interactions the $pi^{-}$ and $pi^{0}$ asymmetries have positive signs while $pi^{+}$ has negative sign. Similar experimental study can be done in the SPASCHARM experiment at U-70 accelerator at IHEP for various secondary particles with the use of 16 GeV polarized proton and antiproton beams.
