The vector meson $omega$-$phi$ mixing is studied in two alternative scenarios with different numbers of mixing angles, i.e., the one-mixing-angle scenario and the two-mixing-angle scenario, in both the octect-singlet mixing scheme and the quark flavor mixing scheme. Concerning the reproduction of experimental data and the $Q^2$ behavior of transition form factors, one-mixing-angle scenario in the quark flavor scheme performs better than that in the octet-singlet scheme, while the two-mixing-angle scenario works well for both mixing schemes. The difference between the two mixing angles in the octet-singlet scheme is bigger than that in the quark flavor scheme.

We present a new calculation of the semileptonic tree-level and flavor-changing neutral current form factors describing $B$-meson transitions to tensor mesons $T=D_2^*,K_2^*,a_2,f_2$ ($J^{P}=2^{+}$). We employ the QCD Light-Cone Sum Rules approach with $B$-meson distribution amplitudes. We go beyond the leading-twist accuracy and provide analytically, for the first time, higher-twist corrections for the two-particle contributions up to twist four terms. We observe that the impact of higher twist terms to the sum rules is noticeable. We study the phenomenological implications of our results on the radiative ${B} to K_2^{*}gamma$ and semileptonic ${B} to D_2^* ell {bar u}_ell$, ${B} to K_2^{*}ell^+ell^-$ decays.
Combining the recent developments of the observations of $Omega$ sates we calculate the $Omega$ spectrum up to the $N=2$ shell within a nonrelativistic constituent quark potential model. Furthermore, the strong and radiative decay properties for the $Omega$ resonances within the $N=2$ shell are evaluated by using the masses and wave functions obtained from the potential model. It is found that the newly observed $Omega(2012)$ resonance is most likely to be the spin-parity $J^P=3/2^-$ $1P$-wave state $Omega(1^{2}P_{3/2^{-}})$, it also has a large potential to be observed in the $Omega(1672)gamma$ channel. Our calculation shows that the 1$P$-, 1$D$-, and 2$S$-wave $Omega$ baryons have a relatively narrow decay width of less than 50 MeV. Based on the obtained decay properties and mass spectrum, we further suggest optimum channels and mass regions to find the missing $Omega$ resonances via the strong and/or radiative decay processes.

We demonstrate the calculation of the coupling constants and form factors required by effective hadron lagrangians using the quark model. These relations follow from equating expressions for strong transition amplitudes in the two approaches. As examples we derive the NNm nucleon-meson coupling constants and form factors for m = pi, eta, eta, sigma, a_0, omega and rho, using harmonic oscillator quark model meson and baryon wavefunctions and the 3P0 decay model; this is a first step towards deriving a quark-based model of the NN force at all separations. This technique should be useful in the application of effective lagrangians to processes in which the lack of data precludes the direct determination of coupling constants and form factors from experiment.
We compute perturbative corrections to $B to pi$ form factors from QCD light-cone sum rules with $B$-meson distribution amplitudes. Applying the method of regions we demonstrate factorization of the vacuum-to-$B$-meson correlation function defined with an interpolating current for pion, at one-loop level, explicitly in the heavy quark limit. The short-distance functions in the factorization formulae of the correlation function involves both hard and hard-collinear scales; and these functions can be further factorized into hard coefficients by integrating out the hard fluctuations and jet functions encoding the hard-collinear information. Resummation of large logarithms in the short-distance functions is then achieved via the standard renormalization-group approach. We further show that structures of the factorization formulae for $f_{B pi}^{+}(q^2)$ and $f_{B pi}^{0}(q^2)$ at large hadronic recoil from QCD light-cone sum rules match that derived in QCD factorization. In particular, we perform an exploratory phenomenological analysis of $B to pi$ form factors, paying attention to various sources of perturbative and systematic uncertainties, and extract $|V_{ub}|= left(3.05^{+0.54}_{-0.38} |_{rm th.} pm 0.09 |_{rm exp.}right) times 10^{-3}$ with the inverse moment of the $B$-meson distribution amplitude $phi_B^{+}(omega)$ determined by reproducing $f_{B pi}^{+}(q^2=0)$ obtained from the light-cone sum rules with $pi$ distribution amplitudes. Furthermore, we present the invariant-mass distributions of the lepton pair for $B to pi ell u_{ell}$ ($ell= mu ,, tau$) in the whole kinematic region. Finally, we discuss non-valence Fock state contributions to the $B to pi$ form factors $f_{B pi}^{+}(q^2)$ and $f_{B pi}^{0}(q^2)$ in brief.
A summary of the calculation of the color-planar and complete light quark contributions to the massive three-loop form factors is presented. Here a novel calculation method for the Feynman integrals is used, solving general uni-variate first order factorizable systems of differential equations. We also present predictions for the asymptotic structure of these form factors.
