The thermal multihadron production observed in different high energy collisions poses two basic problems: (1) why do even elementary collisions with comparatively few secondaries (e+e- annihilation) show thermal behaviour, and 2) why is there in such interactions a suppression of strange particle production? We show that the recently proposed mechanism of thermal hadron production through Hawking-Unruh radiation can naturally account for both. The event horizon of colour confinement leads to thermal behaviour, but the resulting temperature depends on the strange quark content of the produced hadrons, causing a deviation from full equilibrium and hence a suppression of strange particle production. We apply the resulting formalism to multihadron production in e+e- annihilation over a wide energy range and make a comprehensive analysis of the data in the conventional statistical hadronization model and the modified Hawking-Unruh formulation. We show that this formulation provides a very good description of the measured hadronic abundances, fully determined in terms of the string tension and the bare strange quark mass; it contains no adjustable parameters.

We present a comprehensive analysis of hadron production in e+e- collisions at different center-of-mass energies in the framework of the statistical model of the hadron resonance gas. The model is formulated in the canonical ensemble with exact conservation of all relevant quantum numbers. The parameters of the underlying model were determined using a fit to the average multiplicities of the latest measurements at $sqrt{s}$ = 10, 29-35, 91 and 130-200 GeV. The results demonstrate that, within the accuracy of the experiments, none of the data sets is satisfactorily described with this approach, calling into question the notion that particle production in e+e- collisions is thermal in origin.
We study, within the statistical hadronization model, the influence of narrow strangeness carrying baryon resonances (pentaquarks) on the understanding of particle production in relativistic heavy ion collisions. There is a great variation of expected yields as function of heavy ion collision energy due to rapidly evolving chemical conditions at particle chemical freeze-out. At relatively low collision energies, these new states lead to improvement of statistical hadronization fits.
It has been observed that the yields of strange and multi-strange hadrons relative to pion increase significantly with the event charged-particle multiplicity. We notice from experimental data that yield ratios between non-strange hadrons, like p/$pi$ or hadrons of same strange content, like $Lambda$/K$_s^0$, show similar enhancement. We have studied this behavior within the ambit of a parton model (EPOS3) and A Multi-Phase Transport (AMPT) model in pp and p-Pb collisions at LHC energies. We investigate model predictions of yields and yield ratios of different identified hadron productions as a function of charged-particle multiplicity and compare them with published ALICE results. We examine the sensitivity of the angular distribution of the Higgs boson in the process of $e^+e^-to Z H$ and the total cross section in the minimal noncommutative standard model (mNCSM) framework to set lower limit on the noncommutative charactristic scale ($Lambda$). Contrary to the standard model case, in this process the Higgs boson tends to be emitted anisotropically in the transverse plane. Based on this fact, the profile likelihood ratio is used to set lower limit on $Lambda$. The lower limit is presented as a function of the integrated luminosity. We show that at the center-of-mass energy of 1.5 TeV and with 500 fb$^{-1}$ of data, the noncommutative characteristic energy scale $Lambda$ can be excluded up to 1.2 TeV.
We propose a simple model of production of strange baryons and antibaryons in nuclear collisions at the CERN SPS. The model takes into account both the increase of strangeness production in collisions of lighter ions and a possibility of the formation of anomalous, strangeness rich matter in central PbPb interactions. It is shown that ratios like $<Omega>:<Xi>:<Lambda>$ depend strongly on the presence of anomalous matter and can be used to determine its phenomenological parameters. In the model we assume that particle composition of final state hadrons is essentially given by a rapid recombination of quarks and antiquarks formed in tube-on-tube interactions of incoming nucleons.
