The operators that break supersymmetry can be holomorphic or non-holomorphic in structure. The latter do not pose any problem for gauge hierarchy and are soft provided that the particle spectrum does not contain any gauge singlets. In minimal supersymmetric model (MSSM) we discuss the impact of non-holomorphic soft-breaking terms on the Higgs sector. We find that non-holomorphic operators can cause significant changes as are best exhibited by the correlation between the masses of the charginos and Higgs bosons.

We study the Higgs sector of the minimal supersymmetric standard model extended with vector-like quarks, at the one-loop level. The radiative corrections to the tree-level masses of the scalar Higgs bosons are calculated by including the contributions from the loops of top quark, vector-like quarks, and their scalar superpartners, for a reasonable parameter region. We find that the mass of the lightest scalar Higgs boson at the one-loop level should be larger than 85 GeV, if we take into account the negative experimental result for the Higgs search at LEP2. As the radiative corrections are calculated in some detail, we also find that the mass of the lightest scalar Higgs boson at the one-loop level is bounded from above at 280 GeV, This upper bound is increased from a previous result. It may provide a wider possibility for the future collider experiments to discover the lightest scalar Higgs boson of this model.
Using the effective potential method, we computed one-loop corrections to the mass matrix of neutral Higgs bosons of the Non-Holomorphic Supersymmetric Standard Model (NHSSM) with explicit CP violation, where the radiative corrections due to the quarks and squarks of the third generation were taken into account. We observed that the non-holomorphic trilinear couplings can compete with the holomorphic ones in CP violating issues for the mass and mixing of the neutral Higgs bosons.
Recently, the Higgs boson masses in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) and their mixing have been calculated using the complex Two-Higgs-DoubletModel (cTHDM) as an effective field theory (EFT) of the MSSM. Here, we discuss the implementation of this calculation, which we improve in several aspects, into the hybrid framework of FeynHiggs by combing the cTHDM-EFT calculation with the existing fixed-order calculation. This combination allows accurate predictions also in the intermediate regime where some SUSY particles are relatively light, some relatively heavy and some in between. Moreover, the implementation provides precise predictions for the Higgs decay rates and production cross-sections.

The analysis of the Higgs search results at LEP showed that a part of the MSSM parameter space with non-zero complex phases could not be excluded, where the lightest neutral Higgs boson, h_1, has a mass of only about 45 GeV and the second lightest neutral Higgs boson, h_2, has a sizable branching fraction into a pair of h_1 states. Full one-loop results for the Higgs cascade decay h_2 --> h_1 h_1 are presented and combined with two-loop Higgs propagator corrections taken from the program FeynHiggs. Using the improved theoretical prediction to analyse the limits on topological cross sections obtained at LEP, the existence of an unexcluded region at low Higgs mass is confirmed. The effect of the genuine vertex corrections on the size and shape of this region is discussed.
Results are presented for the momentum dependent two-loop contributions of O(alpha_t alpha_s) to the masses and mixing effects in the Higgs sector of the MSSM. They are obtained in the Feynman-diagrammatic approach using a mixed on-shell/DRbar renormalization that can directly be matched onto the higher-order corrections included in the code FeynHiggs. The new two-loop diagrams are evaluated with the program SecDec. The combination of the new momentum dependent two-loop contribution with the existing one- and two-loop corrections in the on-shell/DRbar scheme leads to an improved prediction of the light MSSM Higgs boson mass and a correspondingly reduced theoretical uncertainty. We find that the corresponding shifts in the lightest Higgs-boson mass M_h are below 1 GeV in all scenarios considered, but can extend up to the level of the current experimental uncertainty. The results are included in the code FeynHiggs.
