The total neutron-Nucleus cross section has been calculated within an approach which takes into account nucleon-nucleon correlations, Glauber multiple scattering and inelastic shadowing corrections. Nuclear targets ranging from 4He to 208Pb and neutron incident momentum ranging from 3 to 300 GeV/c, have been considered. Correlations have been introduced by two different approaches leading to the same results. The commonly used approximation, consisting in treating nuclear effects only by a product of one-body densities, is carefully analyzed and it is shown that the effects of realistic correlations resulting from modern nucleon-nucleon interactions and realistic correlations resulting from realistic nucleon-nucleon interactions and microscopic ground state calculation of nuclear properties cannot be disregarded.

With the aim at quantitatively investigating the longstanding problem concerning the effect of short range nucleon-nucleon correlations on scattering processes at high energies, the total neutron-nucleus cross section is calculated within a parameter-free approach which, for the first time, takes into account, simultaneously, central, spin, isospin and tensor nucleon-nucleon (NN) correlations, and Glauber elastic and Gribov inelastic shadowing corrections. Nuclei ranging from 4He to 208Pb and incident neutron momenta in the range 3 GeV/c - 300 GeV/c are considered; the commonly used approach which approximates the square of the nuclear wave function by a product of one-body densities is carefully analyzed, showing that NN correlations can play a non-negligible role in high energy scattering off nuclei.
An improved procedure is suggested for finding the total photoabsorption cross section on the neutron from data on the deuteron at energies < 1.5 GeV. It includes unfolding of smearing effects caused by Fermi motion of nucleons in the deuteron and also takes into account non-additive contributions to the deuteron cross section due to final-state interactions of particles in single and double pion photoproduction. This procedure is applied to analysis of existing data.
The neutron total cross sections $sigma_{tot}$ of $^{16,18}$O, $^{58,64}$Ni, $^{103}$Rh, and $^{112,124}$Sn have been measured at the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (LANSCE) from low to intermediate energies (3 $leq E_{lab} leq$ 450 MeV) by leveraging waveform-digitizer technology. The $sigma_{tot}$ relative differences between isotopes are presented, revealing additional information about the isovector components needed for an accurate optical-model description away from stability. Digitizer-enabled $sigma_{tot}$-measurement techniques are discussed and a series of uncertainty-quantified dispersive optical model (DOM) analyses using these new data is presented, validating the use of the DOM for modeling light systems ($^{16,18}$O) and systems with open neutron shells ($^{58,64}$Ni and $^{112,124}$Sn). The valence-nucleon spectroscopic factors extracted for each isotope reaffirm the usefulness of high-energy proton reaction cross sections for characterizing depletion from the mean-field expectation.
The inclusive neutrino/antineutrino-induced charged and neutral current reaction cross-sections in $^{12}C$, $^{16}O$, $^{40}Ar$, $^{56}Fe$ and $^{208}Pb$ in the energy region of supernova neutrinos/antineutrinos are studied. The calculations are performed in the local density approximation (LDA) taking into account the effects due to Pauli blocking, Fermi motion and the renormalization of weak transition strengths in the nuclear medium. The effect of Coulomb distortion of the lepton produced in the charged current reactions has also been included. The numerical results for the energy dependence of the cross-section $sigma(E)$ as well as the flux averaged cross-section and event rates for the charged lepton production in the case of some supernova neutrino/antineutrino fluxes recently discussed in the literature have been presented. We have also given the flux-averaged angular and energy distributions of the charged leptons corresponding to these fluxes.

The deuteron-proton elastic scattering is studied in the multiple scattering expansion formalism. The contributions of the one-nucleon-exchange, single- and double scattering are taken into account. The Love and Franey parameterization of the nucleon-nucleon $t$-matrix is used, that gives an opportunity to include the off-energy-shell effects into calculations. Differential cross sections are considered at four energies, $T_d=390, 500, 880, 1200$ MeV. The obtained results are compared with the experimental data.
