We present here simultaneous INTEGRAL/RXTE observations of Sco X-1, and in particular a study of the hard X-ray emission of the source and its correlation with the position in the Z-track of the X-ray color-color diagram. We find that the hard X-ray (above about 30 keV) emission of Sco X-1 is dominated by a power-law component with a photon index of ~3. The flux in the power-law component slightly decreases when the source moves in the color-color diagram in the sense of increasing inferred mass accretion rate from the horizontal branch to the normal branch/flaring branch vertex. It becomes not significantly detectable in the flaring branch, where its flux has decreased by about an order of magnitude. These results present close analogies to the behavior of GX 17+2, one of so-called Sco-like Z sources. Finally, the hard power law in the spectrum of Sco X-1 does not show any evidence of a high energy cutoff up to 100 - 200 keV, strongly suggesting a non-thermal origin of this component.

We study hard X-ray emission of the brightest accreting neutron star Sco X-1 with INTEGRAL observatory. Up to now INTEGRAL have collected ~4 Msec of deadtime corrected exposure on this source. We show that hard X-ray tail in time average spectrum of Sco X-1 has a power law shape without cutoff up to energies ~200-300 keV. An absence of the high energy cutoff does not agree with the predictions of a model, in which the tail is formed as a result of Comptonization of soft seed photons on bulk motion of matter near the compact object. The amplitude of the tail varies with time with factor more than ten with the faintest tail at the top of the so-called flaring branch of its color-color diagram. We show that the minimal amplitude of the power law tail is recorded when the component, corresponding to the innermost part of optically thick accretion disk, disappears from the emission spectrum. Therefore we show that the presence of the hard X-ray tail may be related with the existence of the inner part of the optically thick disk. We estimate cooling time for these energetic electrons and show that they can not be thermal. We propose that the hard X-ray tail emission originates as a Compton upscattering of soft seed photons on electrons, which might have initial non-thermal distribution.
We analyse new results of Chandra and Suzaku which found a flux of hard X-ray emission from the compact region around Sgr A$^ast$ (r ~ 100 pc). We suppose that this emission is generated by accretion processes onto the central supermassive blackhole when an unbounded part of captured stars obtains an additional momentum. As a result a flux of subrelativistic protons is generated near the Galactic center which heats the background plasma up to temperatures about 6-10 keV and produces by inverse bremsstrahlung a flux of non-thermal X-ray emission in the energy range above 10 keV.
Spatially resolved images of the galactic supernova remnant G78.2+2.1 (gamma-Cygni) in hard X-ray energy bands from 25 keV to 120 keV are obtained with the IBIS-ISGRI imager aboard the International Gamma-Ray Astrophysics Laboratory INTEGRAL. The ima ges are dominated by localized clumps of about ten arcmin in size. The flux of the most prominent North-Western (NW) clump is (1.7 +/- 0.4) 10^{-11} erg/cm^2/s in the 25-40 keV band. The observed X-ray fluxes are in agreement with extrapolations of soft X-ray imaging observations of gamma-Cygni by ASCA GIS and spatially unresolved RXTE PCA data. The positions of the hard X-ray clumps correlate with bright patches of optical line emission, possibly indicating the presence of radiative shock waves in a shocked cloud. The observed spatial structure and spectra are consistent with model predictions of hard X-ray emission from nonthermal electrons accelerated by a radiative shock in a supernova interacting with an interstellar cloud, but the powerful stellar wind of the O9V star HD 193322 is a plausible candidate for the NW source as well.
We modelled optical light curves of Sco~X-1 obtained by the Kepler space telescope during K2 mission. Modelling was performed for the case of the strong heating of the optical star and accretion disc by X-rays. In the considered model the optical sta r fully filled its Roche lobe. We investigated the inverse problem in wide ranges of values of model parameters and estimated following parameters of Sco X-1: the mass ratio of components $q=M_x/M_v=3.6$ ($3.5-3.8$), where $M_x$ and $M_v$ were masses of the neutron and optical stars correspondingly, the orbital inclination was $i=30^{circ}$ ($25^{circ}-34^{circ}$). In the brackets uncertainties of parameters $q$ and $i$ were shown, they originated due to uncertainties of characteristics of the physical model of Sco X-1. The temperature of non-heated optical star was $T_2 = 2500-3050$ K, its radius was $R_2=1.25R_{odot}=8.7times 10^{10}$ cm, and its bolometric luminosity was $L_{bol}=(2.1-4.6)times 10^{32}$ erg s$^{-1}$. The mass of the star was $M_vsimeq 0.4M_{odot}$. The contribution of the X-ray heated accretion disc dominated in the total optical emission of Sco~X-1. The transition between low and high states occurred due to the increase of X-ray luminosity by a factor $2-3$.

We report the discovery of non-thermal pulsed X-ray/soft gamma-ray emission up to about 150 keV from the anomalous X-ray pulsar AXP 1E 1841-045 located near the centre of supernova remnant Kes 73 using RXTE PCA and HEXTE data. The morphology of the d ouble-peaked pulse profile changes rapidly with energy from 2 keV up to about 8 keV, above which the pulse shape remains more or less stable. The pulsed spectrum is very hard, its shape above 10 keV can be described well by a power law with a photon index of 0.94 +/- 0.16. 1E 1841-045 is the first AXP for which such very-hard pulsed emission has been detected, which points to an origin in the magnetosphere of a magnetar.
