In recent years, more and more exotic hadronic states have been discovered successively. Many of them can be explained as hadronic molecules, such as $D_{s0}^*(2317)$, $X(3872)$, and $P_c$ pentaquark states. Analogous to the formation of nuclei, we study three-body hadronic molecules with the Gaussian expansion method and predict the existence of the $DDK$, $Xi_{cc}Xi_{cc}bar{K}$, and $BBbar{K}$ bound states, which are likely to be found in the current and updated facilities.

We investigate the mass spectrum and electromagnetic processes of charmonium system with the nonperturbative treatment for the spin-dependent potentials, comparing the pure scalar and scalar-vector mixing linear confining potentials. It is revealed t hat the scalar-vector mixing confinement would be important for reproducing the mass spectrum and decay widths, and therein the vector component is predicted to be around 22%. With the state wave functions obtained via the full-potential Hamiltonian, the long-standing discrepancy in M1 radiative transitions of $J/psi$ and $psi^{prime}$ are alleviated spontaneously. This work also intends to provide an inspection and suggestion for the possible $cbar{c}$ among the copious higher charmonium-like states. Particularly, the newly observed X(4160) and X(4350) are found in the charmonium family mass spectrum as $M(2^1D_2)= 4164.9$ MeV and $M(3^3P_2)= 4352.4$ MeV, which strongly favor the $J^{PC}=2^{-+}, 2^{++}$ assignments respectively. The corresponding radiative transitions, leptonic and two-photon decay widths have been also predicted theoretically for the further experimental search.

Many charmonium-like and bottomonium-like $XYZ$ resonances have been observed by the Belle, Babar, CLEO and BESIII collaborations in the past decade. They are difficult to fit in the conventional quark model and thus are considered as candidates of e xotic hadrons, such as multi-quark states, meson molecules, and hybrids. In this talk, we first briefly introduce the method of QCD sum rules and then provide a short review of the mass spectra of the quarkonium-like tetraquark states and the heavy quarkonium hybrids in the QCD sum rules approach. Possible interpretations of the $XYZ$ resonances are briefly discussed.
We investigate the potential of the channel {em mono-Higgs + MET} in yielding signals of dark mater at the high-luminosity Large Hadron Collider (LHC). As illustration, a scalar dark matter in a Higgs portal scenario has been chosen, whose phenomenol ogical viability has been ensured by postulating the existence of dimension-6 operators that enable cancellation in certain amplitudes for elastic scattering of dark matter in direct search experiments. These operators are found to have non-negligible contribution to the mono-Higgs signal. Thereafter, we carry out a detailed analysis of this signal, with the accompanying MET providing a useful handle in suppressing backgrounds. Signals for the Higgs decaying into both the diphoton and $b{bar b}$ channels have been studied. A cut-based simulation is presented first, followed by a demonstration of how the statistical significance can be improved through analyses based on Boosted Decision Trees and Artificial Neural Network. The improvement is found to be especially noticeable for the $b{bar b}$ channel.
A symmetry-preserving treatment of a vector$times$vector contact interaction is used to compute spectra of ground-state $J^P = 0^pm, 1^pm$ $(fbar g)$ mesons, their partner diquark correlations, and $J^P=1/2^pm, 3/2^pm$ $(fgh)$ baryons, where $f,g,h i n {u,d,s,c,b}$. Results for the leptonic decay constants of all mesons are also obtained, including scalar and pseudovector states involving heavy quarks. The spectrum of baryons produced by this chiefly algebraic approach reproduces the 64 masses known empirically or computed using lattice-regularised quantum chromodynamics with an accuracy of 1.4(1.2)%. It also has the richness of states typical of constituent-quark models and predicts many baryon states that have not yet been observed. The study indicates that dynamical, nonpointlike diquark correlations play an important role in all baryons; and, typically, the lightest allowed diquark is the most important component of a baryons Faddeev amplitude.
In this paper we prove a new optimal bound on the logarithmic slope of the elastic slope when: elastic cross section and differential cross sections in forward and backward directions are known from experimental data. The results on the experimental tests of this new optimal bound are presented in Sect. 3 for the principal meson-nucleon elastic scatterings: pion-nucleon, kaon-nucleon at all available energies. Then we have shown that the saturation of this optimal bound is observed with high accuracy practically at all available energies in meson-nucleon scattering.
