Here we present the specifications of the newly developed beta-spectrometer based on thick full absorption Si(Li) detector. The spectrometer can be used for precision measurements of various beta-spectra, namely for the beta-spectrum shape study of $^{144}$Pr, which is considered to be the most promising anti-neutrino source for sterile neutrino searches.
The isotope $^{163}$Ho undergoes an electron capture process with a recommended value for the energy available to the decay, $Q_{rm EC}$, of about 2.5 keV. According to the present knowledge, this is the lowest $Q_{rm EC}$ value for electron capture
The precision measurement of the $beta-$spectrum shape for $^{210}$Bi (historically RaE) have been performed with a spectrometer based on semiconductor Si(Li) detector. This first forbidden non-unique transition has the transition form-factor strongl
The Taishan Antineutrino Observatory (TAO, also known as JUNO-TAO) is a satellite experiment of the Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO). A ton-level liquid scintillator detector will be placed at about 30 m from a core of the Taishan Nuc
Expected energy spectra calculations for large volume liquid scintillation detectors to inverse $beta$-decay for antineutrinos produced by $^{144}$Ce -- $^{144}$Pr artificial source have been performed. The calculations were carried out through Mon
When monitoring a reactor site for nuclear nonproliferation purposes, the presence of an unknown or hidden nuclear reactor could be obscured by the activities of a known reactor of much greater power nearby. Thus when monitoring reactor activities by
