We study the dependence on the quark mass of the compositeness of the lowest-lying odd parity hyperon states. Thus, we pay attention to $Lambda-$like states in the strange, charm and beauty, sectors which are dynamically generated using a unitarized meson-baryon model. In the strange sector we use an SU(6) extension of the Weinberg-Tomozawa meson-baryon interaction, and we further implement the heavy-quark spin symmetry to construct the meson-baryon interaction when charmed or beauty hadrons are involved. In the three examined flavor sectors, we obtain two $J^P=1/2^-$ and one $J^P=3/2^-$ $Lambda$ states. We find that the $Lambda$ states which are bound states (the three $Lambda_b$) or narrow resonances (one $Lambda(1405)$ and one $Lambda_c(2595)$) are well described as molecular states composed of $s$-wave meson-baryon pairs. The $frac{1}{2}^-$ wide $Lambda(1405)$ and $Lambda_c(2595)$ as well as the $frac{3}{2}^-$ $Lambda(1520)$ and $Lambda_c(2625)$ states display smaller compositeness and so they would require new mechanisms, such as $d$-wave interactions.

Exotic charmonium and bottonomium resonances recently discovered are discussed and interpreted as diquark-antidiquark states containing a pair of charm quarks and a pair of light, up and down, quarks. Successes, shortcomings and predictions of the model are illustrated.
Understanding the properties of the strange $Lambda^*$ baryon resonances is a long-standing and fascinating problem. $Lambda_c$ charm-baryon semileptonic weak decays to these resonances are highly sensitive to their internal structure and can be used to test theoretical models. We have performed the first lattice-QCD computation of the form factors governing $Lambda_c$ semileptonic decays to a $Lambda^*$ resonance: the $Lambda^*(1520)$, which has negative parity and spin $3/2$. Here we present the resulting Standard-Model predictions of the $Lambda_ctoLambda^*(1520)ell^+ u_ell$ differential and integrated decay rates as well as angular observables. Furthermore, by combining the recent BESIII measurement of the $Lambda_c to X e^+ u_e$ inclusive semipositronic branching fraction [Phys. Rev. Lett. 121, 251801 (2018)] with lattice-QCD predictions of the $Lambda_c to Lambda e^+ u_e$, $Lambda_c to n e^+ u_e$, and $Lambda_c to Lambda^*(1520) e^+ u_e$ decay rates, we obtain an upper limit on the sum of the branching fractions to all other semipositronic final states. In particular, this upper limit constrains the $Lambda_ctoLambda^*(1405)e^+ u_e$ branching fraction to be very small, which may be another hint for a molecular structure of the $Lambda^*(1405)$.
The lightest hidden-bottom tetraquarks in the dynamical diquark model fill an $S$-wave multiplet consisting of 12 isomultiplets. We predict their masses and dominant bottomonium decay channels using a simple 3-parameter Hamiltonian that captures the core fine-structure features of the model, including isospin dependence. The only experimental inputs needed are the corresponding observables for $Z_b(10610)$ and $Z_b(10650)$. The mass of $X_b$, the bottom analogue to $X(3872)$, is highly constrained in this scheme. In addition, using lattice-calculated potentials we predict the location of the center of mass of the $P$-wave multiplet and find that $Y(10860)$ fits well but the newly discovered $Y(10750)$ does not, more plausibly being a $D$-wave bottomonium state. Using similar methods, we also examine the lowest $S$-wave multiplet of 6 $cbar c sbar s$ states, assuming as in earlier work that $X(3915)$ and $Y(4140)$ are members, and predict the masses and dominant charmonium decay modes of the other states. We again use lattice potentials to compute the centers of mass of higher multiplets, and find them to be compatible with the masses of $Y(4626)$ ($1P$) and $X(4700)$ ($2S$), respectively.
The strong decays of charm-strange baryons up to N=2 shell are studied in a chiral quark model. The theoretical predictions for the well determined charm-strange baryons, $Xi_c^*(2645)$, $Xi_c(2790)$ and $Xi_c(2815)$, are in good agreement with the e xperimental data. This model is also extended to analyze the strong decays of the other newly observed charm-strange baryons $Xi_c(2930)$, $Xi_c(2980)$, $Xi_c(3055)$, $Xi_c(3080)$ and $Xi_c(3123)$. Our predictions are given as follows. (i) $Xi_c(2930)$ might be the first $P$-wave excitation of $Xi_c$ with $J^P=1/2^-$, favors the $|Xi_c ^2P_lambda 1/2^->$ or $|Xi_c ^4P_lambda 1/2^->$ state. (ii) $Xi_c(2980)$ might correspond to two overlapping $P$-wave states $|Xi_c ^2P_rho 1/2^->$ and $|Xi_c ^2P_rho 3/2^->$, respectively. The $Xi_c(2980)$ observed in the $Lambda_c^+bar{K}pi$ final state is most likely to be the $|Xi_c ^2P_rho 1/2^->$ state, while the narrower resonance with a mass $msimeq 2.97$ GeV observed in the $Xi_c^*(2645)pi$ channel favors to be assigned to the $|Xi_c ^2P_rho 3/2^->$ state. (iii) $Xi_c(3080)$ favors to be classified as the $|Xi_c S_{rhorho} 1/2^+>$ state, i.e., the first radial excitation (2S) of $Xi_c$. (iv) $Xi_c(3055)$ is most likely to be the first $D$-wave excitation of $Xi_c$ with $J^P=3/2^+$, favors the $|Xi_c ^2D_{lambdalambda} 3/2^+>$ state. (v) $Xi_c(3123)$ might be assigned to the $|Xi_c ^4D_{lambdalambda} 3/2^+>$, $|Xi_c ^4D_{lambdalambda} 5/2^+>$, or $|Xi_c ^2D_{rhorho} 5/2^+>$ state. As a by-product, we calculate the strong decays of the bottom baryons $Sigma_b^{pm}$, $Sigma_b^{*pm}$ and $Xi_b^*$, which are in good agreement with the recent observations as well.

Recently BESIII collaboration discovered a charged strange hidden-charm state $Z_{cs}$(3985) in the $D_s^-D^{*0} + D_s^{*-}D^{0}$ spectrum. A higher $Z_{cs}$ state coupling to $bar{D}_s^{*-}D^{*0}$ is expected by SU(3)-flavor symmetry, and their bott om partners are anticipated by heavy quark flavor symmetry. Here we study the photoproduction of these exotic states and investigate carefully the background from Pomeron exchange. Our results indicate that the maximal photoproduction cross section of strange partner is around 1 $sim$ 2 orders of magnitude smaller than that of the corresponding non-strange states. The possibility of searching for them in future electron-ion colliders (EIC) is briefly discussed.
