The cross section for e^+e^- to eta J/psi between sqrt{s}=3.8 GeV/c^2 and 5.3 GeV/c^2 is measured via initial state radiation using 980 fb^{-1} of data on and around the Upsilon(nS)(n=1,2,3,4,5) resonances collected with the Belle detector at KEKB. Two resonant structures at the psi(4040) and psi(4160) are observed in the eta J/psi invariant mass distribution. Fitting the mass spectrum with the coherent sum of two Breit-Wigner functions, one obtains BR(psi(4040)toeta J/psi)cdotGamma_{ee}^{psi(4040)} = (4.8pm0.9pm1.4) eV and BR(psi(4160)toeta J/psi)cdotGamma_{ee}^{psi(4160)} = (4.0pm0.8pm1.4) eV for one solution and BR(psi(4040)toeta J/psi)cdotGamma_{ee}^{psi(4040)} = (11.2pm1.3pm1.9) eV and BR(psi(4160)toeta J/psi)cdotGamma_{ee}^{psi(4160)} = (13.8pm1.3pm2.0) eV for the other solution, where the first errors are statistical and the second are systematic. This is the first measurement of this hadronic transition mode of these two states, and the partial widths to eta J/psi are found to be about 1 MeV. There is no evidence for the Y(4260), Y(4360), psi(4415), or Y(4660) in the eta J/psi final state, and upper limits of their production rates in e^+e^- annihilation are determined.

By analyzing data samples of 2.9 fb^{-1} collected at sqrt s=3.773 GeV, 482 pb^{-1} collected at sqrt s=4.009 GeV and 67 pb^{-1} collected at sqrt s=3.542, 3.554, 3.561, 3.600 and 3.650 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring, we sear ch for psi(3770) and psi(4040) decay to baryonic final states, including LambdabarLambdapi^+pi^-, Lambda barLambdapi^0, LambdabarLambdaeta, Sigma^+ barSigma^-, Sigma^0 barSigma^0, Xi^-barXi^+ and Xi^0barXi^0 decays. None are observed, and upper limits are set at the 90% confidence level.
We have measured several branching ratios for $psi^prime$ decay using the data collected by FNAL E835 experiment during year 2000, obtaining ${cal B}(psi^prime to e^+ e^-) = 0.0068pm0.0001pm0.0004$, ${cal B}(psi^prime to J/psi pi^+ pi^-) = 0.292pm0.0 05pm0.018$, ${cal B}(psi^prime to J/psi pi^0 pi^0) = 0.167pm0.005pm0.014$ and ${cal B}(psi^prime to J/psi eta) = 0.028pm0.002pm0.002$. We also present a measurement of the dipion mass distribution in the decays $psi^prime to J/psi pi pi$.
We measure the mass of the eta meson using psi(2S) --> eta J/psi events acquired with the CLEO-c detector operating at the CESR e+e- collider. Using the four decay modes eta --> gamma gamma, 3pi0, pi+pi-pi0, and pi+pi-gamma, we find M(eta)=547.785 +- 0.017 +- 0.057 MeV, in which the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. This result has an uncertainty comparable to the two most precise previous measurements and is consistent with that of NA48, but is inconsistent at the level of 6.5sigma with the much smaller mass obtained by GEM.
The first observation of exotic states with a new quark content $c bar{c} u bar{s}$ decaying to the $J/psi K^+$ final state is reported with high significance from an amplitude analysis of the $B^+ to J/psi phi K^+$ decay. The analysis is carried out using proton-proton collision data corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb$^{-1}$ collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8 and 13 TeV. The most significant state, $Z_{cs}(4000)^+$, has a mass of $4003pm6,^{+,phantom{0}4}_{-,14}$ MeV, a width of $131pm15pm26$ MeV, and spin-parity $J^P=1^+$, where the quoted uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. A new $1^+$ $X(4685)$ state decaying to the $J/psi phi$ final state is also observed with high significance. In addition, the four previously reported $J/psi phi$ states are confirmed and two more exotic states, $Z_{cs}(4220)^+$ and $X(4630)$, are observed with significance exceeding five standard deviations.
We study the electromagnetic Dalitz decay $J/psi to e^+e^- eta$ and search for di-electron decays of a dark gauge boson ($gamma$) in $J/psi to gamma eta$ with the two $eta$ decay modes $eta rightarrow gamma gamma$ and $eta rightarrow pi^+pi^-pi^0$ us ing $(1310.6pm 7.0)times10^6$ $J/psi$ events collected with the BESIII detector. The branching fraction of $J/psi to e^+e^- eta$ is measured to be $(1.43 pm 0.04 ({rm stat}) pm 0.06 ({rm syst}))times 10^{-5}$, with a precision that is improved by a factor of $1.5$ over the previous BESIII measurement. The corresponding di-electron invariant mass dependent modulus square of the transition form factor is explored for the first time, and the pole mass is determined to be $Lambda = 2.84 pm 0.11({rm stat}) pm 0.08({rm syst})$ GeV/$c^2$. We find no evidence of $gamma$ production and set $90%$ confidence level upper limits on the product branching fraction $mathcal{B}(J/psi to gamma eta)times mathcal{B}(gamma to e^+e^-)$ as well as the kinetic mixing strength between the Standard Model photon and $gamma$ in the mass range of $0.01 le m_{gamma} le 2.4$ GeV/$c^2$.
