The in-plane thermal conductivity $kappa$ of the iron selenide superconductor FeSe$_x$ ($T_c$ = 8.8 K) were measured down to 120 mK and up to 14.5 T ($simeq 3/4 H_{c2}$). In zero field, the residual linear term $kappa_0/T$ at $ T to 0$ is only about 16 $mu$W K$^{-2}$ cm$^{-1}$, less than 4% of its normal state value. Such a small $kappa_0/T$ does not support the existence of nodes in the superconducting gap. More importantly, the field dependence of $kappa_0/T$ in FeSe$_x$ is very similar to that in NbSe$_2$, a typical multi-gap s-wave superconductor. We consider our data as strong evidence for multi-gap nodeless superconductivity in FeSe$_x$. This kind of superconducting gap structure may be generic for all Fe-based superconductors.

The thermal conductivity of iron-based superconductor CsFe$_2$As$_2$ single crystal ($T_c =$ 1.81 K) was measured down to 50 mK. A significant residual linear term $kappa_0/T$ = 1.27 mW K$^{-2}$ cm$^{-1}$ is observed in zero magnetic field, which is about 1/10 of the normal-state value in upper critical field $H_{c2}$. In low magnetic field, $kappa_0/T$ increases rapidly with field. The overall field dependence of $kappa_0/T$ for our CsFe$_2$As$_2$ (with residual resistivity $rho_0$ = 1.80 $muOmega$ cm) lies between the dirty KFe$_2$As$_2$ (with $rho_0$ = 3.32 $muOmega$ cm) and the clean KFe$_2$As$_2$ (with $rho_0$ = 0.21 $muOmega$ cm). These results strongly suggest nodal superconducting gap in CsFe$_2$As$_2$, similar to its sister compound KFe$_2$As$_2$.
The thermal conductivity of the iron-based superconductor FeSe was measured at temperatures down to 50 mK in magnetic fields up to 17 T. In zero magnetic field, the electronic residual linear term in the T = 0 limit, kappa_0/T, is vanishingly small. Application of a magnetic field H causes no increase in kappa_0/T initially. Those two observations show that there are no zero-energy quasiparticles that carry heat and therefore no nodes in the superconducting gap of FeSe. The full field dependence of kappa_0/T has the classic shape of a two-band superconductor, such as MgB2: it rises exponentially at very low field, with a characteristic field H* << Hc2, and then more slowly up to the upper critical field Hc2. This shows that the superconducting gap is very small on one of the pockets in the Fermi surface of FeSe.
The thermal conductivity of the layered s-wave superconductor NbSe_2 was measured down to T_c/100 throughout the vortex state. With increasing field, we identify two regimes: one with localized states at fields very near H_c1 and one with highly delo calized quasiparticle excitations at higher fields. The two associated length scales are most naturally explained as multi-band superconductivity, with distinct small and large superconducting gaps on different sheets of the Fermi surface.
Recently, a new family of iron-based superconductors called 12442 was discovered and the muon spin relaxation ($mu$SR) measurements on KCa$_2$Fe$_4$As$_4$F$_2$ and CsCa$_2$Fe$_4$As$_4$F$_2$ polycrystals, two members of the family, indicated that both have a nodal superconducting gap structure with $s+d$ pairing symmetry. Here we report the ultralow-temperature thermal conductivity measurements on CsCa$_2$Fe$_4$As$_4$F$_2$ single crystals ($T_c$ = 29.3 K). A negligible residual linear term $kappa_0/T$ in zero field and the field dependence of $kappa_0/T$ suggest multiple nodeless superconducting gaps in CsCa$_2$Fe$_4$As$_4$F$_2$. This gap structure is similar to CaKFe$_4$As$_4$ and moderately doped Ba$_{1-x}$K$_x$Fe$_2$As$_2$, but contrasts to the nodal gap structure indicated by the $mu$SR measurements on CsCa$_2$Fe$_4$As$_4$F$_2$ polycrystals.
We have carried out a systematic study of the PbO-type compound FeSe_{1-x}Te_x (x = 0~1), where Te substitution effect on superconductivity is investigated. It is found that superconducting transition temperature reaches a maximum of Tc=15.2K at abou t 50% Te substitution. The pressure-enhanced Tc of FeSe0.5Te0.5 is more than 10 times larger than that of FeSe. Interestingly, FeTe is no longer superconducting. A low temperature structural distortion changes FeTe from triclinic symmetry to orthorhombic symmetry. We believe that this structural change breaks the magnetic symmetry and suppresses superconductivity in FeTe.
