Recently an extension of the standard model (the Lee-Wick standard model) based on ideas of Lee and Wick (LW) was introduced. It does not contain quadratic divergences in the Higgs mass and hence solves the hierarchy puzzle. The LW-standard model contains new heavy LW-resonances at the TeV scale that decay to ordinary particles. In this paper we examine in more detail the flavor structure of the theory. We integrate out the heavy LW-fermions at tree level and find that this induces flavor changing Z boson couplings. However, these flavor changing neutral currents are acceptably small since they are automatically suppressed by small Yukawa couplings. This is the case even though the theory does not satisfy the principle of minimal flavor violation. New couplings of the charged W bosons to quarks and leptons are also induced. We also integrate out the LW-Higgs and examine the four-fermion operators induced.

We construct a modification of the standard model which stabilizes the Higgs mass against quadratically divergent radiative corrections, using ideas originally discussed by Lee and Wick in the context of a finite theory of quantum electrodynamics. Th e Lagrangian includes new higher derivative operators. We show that the higher derivative terms can be eliminated by introducing a set of auxiliary fields; this allows for convenient computation and makes the physical interpretation more transparent. Although the theory is unitary, it does not satisfy the usual analyticity conditions.
In the context of a warped extra-dimension with Standard Model fields in the bulk, we obtain the general flavor structure of the Radion couplings to fermions and show that the result is independent on the particular nature of the Higgs mechanism (bul k or brane localized). These couplings will be generically misaligned with respect to the fermion mass matrix when the fermion bulk mass parameters are not all degenerate. When the Radion is light enough, the generic size of these tree-level flavor changing couplings will be strongly constrained by the experimental bounds on $Delta F=2$ processes. At the LHC the possibility of a heavier Radion decaying into top and charm quarks is then considered as a promising signal to probe the flavor structure of both the Radion sector and the whole scenario.

The Flavor Changing Neutral Current decays(FCNC) is forbidden at tree level in the Standard Model (SM) and could only contribute through loops. Any direct observation beyond SM expectations could be a good probe of physics beyond SM. BESIII is a curr ently running tau-charm factory with the largest samples of on threshold charm meson pairs, directly produced charmonia and some other unique datasets at BEPCII collider. It has great potential to probe these FCNC decays from multiple channels. Here we review some of latest search results of FCNC decays from BESIII. We present the latest results of searches for the decay of $J/psi to D^{0} e^+ e^-$, $psi(3686) to D^{0} e^+ e^-$, $psi(3686) to Lambda_c^+ overline{p} e^+ e^-$, $D to h (h) e^+ e^-$, $D^{+} to h^{+} e^+ e^-$, etc. Other related searches, together with the prospects and challenges with other channels and the future data are also discussed.
Within the framework of the Lee Wick Standard Model (LWSM) we investigate Higgs pair production $gg to h_0 h_0$, $gg to h_0 tilde p_0$ and top pair production $gg to bar tt$ at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), where the neutral particles from the Hig gs sector ($h_0$, $tilde h_0$ and $tilde p_0$) appear as possible resonant intermediate states. We investigate the signal $gg to h_0 h_0 to bar b b gamma gamma$ and we find that the LW Higgs, depending on its mass-range, can be seen not long after the LHC upgrade in 2012. More precisely this happens when the new LW Higgs states are below the top pair threshold. In $gg to bar tt$ the LW states, due to the wrong-sign propagator and negative width, lead to a dip-peak structure instead of the usual peak-dip structure which gives a characteristic signal especially for low-lying LW Higgs states. We comment on the LWSM and the forward-backward asymmetry in view of the measurement at the TeVatron. Furthermore, we present a technique which reduces the hyperbolic diagonalization to standard diagonalization methods. We clarify issues of spurious phases in the Yukawa sector.
Top quark flavor changing neutral current (FCNC) interactions are highly suppressed in the Standard Model. Therefore, any large signal of FCNCs will indicate the existence of new interactions. In this paper, searches for FCNC interactions in top quar k production and decay at the Tevatron and LHC are presented. FCNC searches in $trightarrow qZ$ and $trightarrow Hq$ decays, and in top quark production in $pprightarrow t+j$, $pprightarrow t+Z$ are summarized. Effect of top quark FCNCs on single top quark cross-section, and the searches for same-sign top quark pair production through FCNCs are also described. None of the searches yielded positive results and exclusion limits on branching rations, coupling strengths and cross-sections are obtained. Future prospects of FCNC searches are also briefly discussed.
