In this paper we discuss the consequences of including a new heavy right-handed neutrino singlet $N_R$ in the littlest Higgs model. This new state is not connected with the light neutrinos {it via} the seesaw mechanism. A very interesting property of this extended model is the full coupling of the new neutral gauge boson $A_H$ to $N_R$, giving large total cross sections and suggesting a wide range of experimental search for the $N_R$ at the p p collider CERN-LHC and future electron-positron collider ILC.

Several models of neutrino masses predict the existence of neutral heavy leptons. Here, we review current constraints on heavy neutrinos and apply a new formalism separating new physics from Standard Model. We discuss also the indirect effect of extra heavy neutrinos in oscillation experiments.
In this article we consider the Standard Model extended by a number of (light) right-handed neutrinos, and assume the presence of some heavy physics that cannot be directly produced, but can be probed by its low-energy effective interactions. Within this scenario, we obtain all the gauge-invariant dimension-seven effective operators, and determine whether each of the operators can be generated at tree-level by the heavy physics, or whether it is necessarily loop generated. We then use the tree-generated operators, including those containing right-handed neutrinos, to put limits on the scale of new physics $ Lambda $ using low-energy measurements. We also study the production of same-sign dileptons at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and determine the constraints on the heavy physics that can be derived form existing data, as well as the reach in probing $ Lambda $ expected from future runs of this collider.

In this lecture I review the most relevant modifications of the Standard Model of particle physics that result from inclusion of right-handed neutrinos and a new neutral gauge boson Z.
The Standard Model of particle physics is still lacking an understanding of the generation and nature of neutrino masses. A favorite theoretical scenario (the see-saw mechanism) is that both Dirac and Majorana mass terms are present, leading to the e xistence of heavy partners of the light neutrinos, presumably massive and nearly sterile. These heavy neutrinos can be searched for at high energy lepton colliders of very high luminosity, such as the Future electron-positron e+e- Circular Collider, FCC-ee (TLEP), presently studied within the Future Circular Collider design study at CERN, as a possible first step. A first look at sensitivities, both from neutrino counting and from direct search for heavy neutrino decay, are presented. The number of neutrinos should be measurable with a precision between 0.001 - 0.0004, while the direct search appears very promising due to the long lifetime of heavy neutrinos for small mixing angles. A sensitivity down to a heavy-light mixing of 10^{-12} is obtained, covering a large phase-space for heavy neutrino masses between 10 and 80 GeV/c2.
We propose and study a novel extension of the Standard Model based on the B-L gauge symmetry that can account for dark matter and neutrino masses. In this model, right-handed neutrinos are absent and the gauge anomalies are canceled instead by four c hiral fermions with fractional B-L charges. After the breaking of $U(1)_{B-L}$, these fermions arrange themselves into two Dirac particles, the lightest of which is automatically stable and plays the role of the dark matter. We determine the regions of the parameter space consistent with the observed dark matter density and show that they can be partially probed via direct and indirect dark matter detection or collider searches at the LHC. Neutrino masses, on the other hand, can be explained by a variant of the type-II seesaw mechanism involving one of the two scalar fields responsible for the dark matter mass.
