In this summary of the considerations of the QCD working group at Snowmass 2001, the roles of quantum chromodynamics in the Standard Model and in the search for new physics are reviewed, with empahsis on frontier areas in the field. We discuss the importance of, and prospects for, precision QCD in perturbative and lattice calculations. We describe new ideas in the analysis of parton distribution functions and jet structure, and review progress in small-$x$ and in polarization.
This Report documents the results obtained by the Working Group on Quantum ChromoDynamics and the Standard Model for the Workshop ``Physics at TeV Colliders, Les Houches, France, 21 May - 1 June 2001. The account of uncertainties in Parton Distributi
Report of the Working Group on Higgs Bosons for the Workshop, ``Physics at TeV Colliders, Les Houches, France, 11-29 June, 2007.
We review theoretical and phenomenological aspects of heavy flavour production as discussed in the heavy flavour working group of the DIS 2012. Recent theoretical progress includes approximate NNLO calculations for heavy quark structure functions in
A summary is given of the experimental and theoretical results presented in the working group on spin physics. New data on inclusive and semi-inclusive deep-inelastic scattering, combined with theoretical studies of the polarized distribution functio
Studies presented in the heavy flavours working group are summarized. Very recent results of measurements at the HERA, LHC, Tevatron, STAR, PHENIX, and BaBar experiments are reviewed and new developments in theory and phenomenology are discussed. In
