A head tracker is a crucial part of the head mounted display systems, as it tracks the head of the pilot in the plane/cockpit simulator. The operational flaws of head trackers are also dependent on different environmental conditions like different lighting conditions and stray light interference. In this letter, an optical tracker has been employed to gather the 6-DoF data of head movements under different environmental conditions. Also, the effect of different environmental conditions and variation in distance between the receiver and optical transmitter on the 6-DoF data was analyzed.
Porting code from CPU to GPU is costly and time-consuming; Unless much time is invested in development and optimization, it is not obvious, a priori, how much speed-up is achievable or how much room is left for improvement. Knowing the potential spee
This study demonstrates the feasibility of the proactive received power prediction by leveraging spatiotemporal visual sensing information toward the reliable millimeter-wave (mmWave) networks. Since the received power on a mmWave link can attenuate
Todays telecommunication networks have become sources of enormous amounts of widely heterogeneous data. This information can be retrieved from network traffic traces, network alarms, signal quality indicators, users behavioral data, etc. Advanced mat
Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) have been extensively studied for nearly two decades as one of the most promising candidates expected to power the high bandwidth, high coverage wireless networks of the future. However, consumer demand for such networks
Prediction of diabetes and its various complications has been studied in a number of settings, but a comprehensive overview of problem setting for diabetes prediction and care management has not been addressed in the literature. In this document we s
