We include the single graviton loop contribution to the linearized Einstein equation. Explicit results are obtained for one loop corrections to the propagation of gravitational radiation. Although suppressed by a minuscule loop-counting parameter, these corrections are enhanced by the square of the number of inflationary e-foldings. One consequence is that perturbation theory breaks down for a very long epoch of primordial inflation. Another consequence is that the one loop correction to the tensor power spectrum might be observable, in the far future, after the full development of 21cm cosmology.
We calculate the one-loop corrections from inflationary gravitons to the electromagnetic fields of a point charge and a point magnetic dipole on a locally de Sitter space background. Results are obtained both for an observer at rest in co-moving coor
Cherenkov radiation may occur whenever the source is moving faster than the waves it generates. In a radiation dominated universe, with equation-of-state $w = 1/3$, we have recently shown that the Bardeen scalar-metric perturbations contribute to the
We study the slow-roll single field inflation in the context of the consistent $Dto4$ Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity that was recently proposed in cite{Aoki:2020lig}. In addition to the standard attractor regime, we find a new attractor regime which w
The gravitational memory effect due to an exact plane wave provides us with an elementary description of the diffeomorphisms associated with soft gravitons. It is explained how the presence of the latter may be detected by observing the motion of fre
It is well known that the inflationary scenario often displays different sets of degeneracies in its predictions for CMB observables. These degeneracies usually arise either because multiple inflationary models predict similar values for the scalar s
