We have defined almost separable space. We show that like separability, almost separability is $c$ productive and converse also true under some restrictions. We establish a Baire Category theorem like result in Hausdorff, Pseudocompacts spaces. We investigate few relationships among separability, almost separability, sequential separability, strongly sequential separability.

A separable space is strongly sequentially separable if, for each countable dense set, every point in the space is a limit of a sequence from the dense set. We consider this and related properties, for the spaces of continous and Borel real-valued fu nctions on Tychonoff spaces, with the topology of pointwise convergence. Our results solve a problem stated by Gartside, Lo, and Marsh.
The famous Banach-Mazur problem, which asks if every infinite-dimensional Banach space has an infinite-dimensional separable quotient Banach space, has remained unsolved for 85 years, though it has been answered in the affirmative for reflexive Banac h spaces and even Banach spaces which are duals. The analogous problem for locally convex spaces has been answered in the negative, but has been shown to be true for large classes of locally convex spaces including all non-normable Frechet spaces. In this paper the analogous problem for topological groups is investigated. Indeed there are four natural analogues: Does every non-totally disconnected topological group have a separable quotient group which is (i) non-trivial; (ii) infinite; (iii) metrizable; (iv) infinite metrizable. All four questions are answered here in the negative. However, positive answers are proved for important classes of topological groups including (a) all compact groups; (b) all locally compact abelian groups; (c) all $sigma$-compact locally compact groups; (d) all abelian pro-Lie groups; (e) all $sigma$-compact pro-Lie groups; (f) all pseudocompact groups. Negative answers are proved for precompact groups.
A theorem by Norman L. Noble from 1970 asserts that every product of completely regular, locally pseudo-compact k_R-spaces is a k_R-space. As a consequence, all direct products of locally compact Hausdorff spaces are k_R-spaces. We provide a streamlined proof for this fact.
W. Hurewicz proved that analytic Menger sets of reals are $sigma$-compact and that co-analytic completely Baire sets of reals are completely metrizable. It is natural to try to generalize these theorems to projective sets. This has previously been ac complished by $V = L$ for projective counterexamples, and the Axiom of Projective Determinacy for positive results. For the first problem, the first author, S. Todorcevic, and S. Tokgoz have produced a finer analysis with much weaker axioms. We produce a similar analysis for the second problem, showing the two problems are essentially equivalent. We also construct in ZFC a separable metrizable space with $omega$-th power completely Baire, yet lacking a dense completely metrizable subspace. This answers a question of Eagle and Tall in Abstract Model Theory.
Classes SSGP(n)(n < omega) of topological groups are defined, and the class-theoretic inclusions SSGP(n) subseteq SSGP(n+1) subseteq m.a.p. are established and shown proper. These classes are investigated with respect to the properties normally studi ed by topologists (products, quotients, passage to dense subgroups, and the like). In passing the authors establish the presence of the SSGP(1) or SSGP(2) property in many of the early examples in the literature of abelian m.a.p. groups.
