Various spin observables (analyzing powers and spin-correlation parameters) in $pd$ elastic scattering at $T_p = 800-1000$ MeV are analyzed within the framework of the refined Glauber model. The theoretical model uses as input spin-dependent $NN$ amplitudes obtained from the most recent partial-wave analysis and also takes into account the deuteron $D$ wave and charge-exchange effects. Predictions of the refined Glauber model are compared with the existing experimental data. Reasonable agreement between the theoretical calculations and experimental data at low momentum transfers $|t| lesssim 0.2$ (GeV/$c)^2$ is found for all observables considered. Moderate discrepancies found in this region are shown to be likely due to uncertainties in the input $NN$ amplitudes. Qualitative agreement at higher momentum transfers is also found for most observables except the tensor ones with mixed $x$ and $z$ polarization components. Possible reasons for observed deviations of the model calculations from the data at $|t| > 0.2$ (GeV/$c)^2$ are discussed.

New precise unpolarised differential cross sections of deuteron-proton elastic scattering have been measured at 16 different deuteron beam momenta between $p_d = 3120.17;textrm{MeV}/c$ and $p_d =3204.16;textrm{MeV}/c$ at the COoler SYnchrotron COSY o f the Forschungszentrum Julich. The data, which were taken using the magnetic spectrometer ANKE, cover the equivalent range in proton kinetic energies from $T_p = 882.2;textrm{MeV}$ to $T_p = 918.3;textrm{MeV}$. The experimental results are analysed theoretically using the Glauber diffraction model with accurate nucleon-nucleon input. The theoretical cross section at $T_p = 900;textrm{MeV}$ agrees very well with the experimental one at low momentum transfers $|t| <0.2;(textrm{GeV}/c)^2$.
The cross section for the pd --> ^3He eta pi0 reaction has been measured at a beam energy of 1450 MeV using the WASA detector at the CELSIUS storage ring and detecting one ^3He and four photons from the decays of the two photons. The data indicate th at the production mechanism involves the formation of the Delta(1232) isobar. Although the beam energy does not allow the full peak of this resonance to be seen, the invariant masses of all three pairs of final state particles are well reproduced by a phase space Monte Carlo simulation weighted with the p-wave factor of the square of the pi^0 momentum in the ^3Hepi^0 system.

Predictions of cross sections and analyzing powers using g-folding optical potentials for the scattering of 71A MeV 6,8He ions from (polarized) hydrogen are compared with data. A g-folding model in which exchange amplitudes are evaluated explicitly w as used with wave functions of 6,8He specified from a no-core shell model that used a complete (0+2+4)hw basis. The analyzing powers reveal some sensitivities to the details of the wave functions, especially in the case of halo nuclei.

A systematic analysis of nucleon-nucleon scattering amplitudes is available up to a laboratory energy of $3$~GeV in case of the $pp$ system and up to $1.2$ GeV for $pn$. At higher energies there is only incomplete experimental information on $pp$ ela stic scattering, whereas data for the $pn$ system are very scarce. We apply the spin-dependent Glauber theory to calculate spin observables of $pd$ elastic scattering at $3$-$50$ GeV/c using $pp$ amplitudes available in the literature and parametrized within the Regge formalism. The calculated vector $A_y^p$, $A_y^d$ and tensor $A_{xx}$, $A_{yy}$ analyzing powers and the spin-correlation coefficients $C_{y,y}$, $C_{x,x}$, $C_{yy,y}$, $C_{xx,y}$ can be measured at SPD NICA and, thus, will provide a test of the used $pN$ amplitudes.
We have performed CDCC calculations for collisions of $^{7}$Li projectiles on $^{59}$Co, $^{144}$Sm and $^{208}$Pb targets at near-barrier energies, to assess the importance of the Coulomb and the nuclear couplings in the breakup of $^{7}$Li, as well as the Coulomb-nuclear interference. We have also investigated scaling laws, expressing the dependence of the cross sections on the charge and the mass of the target. This work is complementary to the one previously reported by us on the breakup of $^{6}$Li. Here we explore the similarities and differences between the results for the two Lithium isotopes. The relevance of the Coulomb dipole strength at low energy for the two-cluster projectile is investigated in details.
