We define and study cocycles on a Coxeter group in each degree generalizing the sign function. When the Coxeter group is a Weyl group, we explain how the degree three cocycle arises naturally from geometry representation theory.

The goal of this paper is to compute the cuspidal Calogero-Moser families for all infinite families of finite Coxeter groups, at all parameters. We do this by first computing the symplectic leaves of the associated Calogero-Moser space and then by cl assifying certain rigid modules. Numerical evidence suggests that there is a very close relationship between Calogero-Moser families and Lusztig families. Our classification shows that, additionally, the cuspidal Calogero-Moser families equal cuspidal Lusztig families for the infinite families of Coxeter groups.

When $W$ is a finite Coxeter group acting by its reflection representation on $E$, we describe the category ${mathsf{Perv}}_W(E_{mathbb C}, {mathcal{H}}_{mathbb C})$ of $W$-equivariant perverse sheaves on $E_{mathbb C}$, smooth with respect to the st ratification by reflection hyperplanes. By using Kapranov and Schechtmans recent analysis of perverse sheaves on hyperplane arrangements, we find an equivalence of categories from ${mathsf{Perv}}_W(E_{mathbb C}, {mathcal{H}}_{mathbb C})$ to a category of finite-dimensional modules over an algebra given by explicit generators and relations. We also define categories of equivariant perverse sheaves on affine buildings, e.g., $G$-equivariant perverse sheaves on the Bruhat--Tits building of a $p$-adic group $G$. In this setting, we find that a construction of Schneider and Stuhler gives equivariant perverse sheaves associated to depth zero representations.
Given a Coxeter system (W,S), there is an associated CW-complex, Sigma, on which W acts properly and cocompactly. We prove that when the nerve L of (W,S) is a flag triangulation of the 3-sphere, then the reduced $ell^2$-homology of Sigma vanishes in all but the middle dimension.
We establish a categorical version of Vogan duality for quasi-split real groups. This proves a conjecture of Soergel in the quasi-split case.
Popov has recently introduced an analogue of Jordan classes (packets, or decomposition classes) for the action of a theta-group (G_0,V), showing that they are finitely-many, locally-closed, irreducible unions of G_0-orbits of constant dimension parti tioning V. We carry out a local study of their closures showing that Jordan classes are smooth and that their closure is a union of Jordan classes. We parametrize Jordan classes and G_0-orbits in a given class in terms of the action of subgroups of Vinbergs little Weyl group, and include several examples and counterexamples underlying the differences with the symmetric case and the critical issues arising in the theta-situation.
