In this article we lay out the details of Fukayas $A_infty$-structure of the Morse complexe of a manifold possibly with boundary. We show that this $A_infty$-structure is homotopically independent of the made choices. We emphasize the transversality arguments that make some fiber products smooth.

In this paper, we study Formans discrete Morse theory in the context of weighted homology. We develop weight
We use rational formality of configuration spaces and the bar construction to study the cohomology of the space of braids in dimension four or greater. We provide a diagram complex for braids and a quasi-isomorphism to the de Rham cochains on the spa ce of braids. The quasi-isomorphism is given by a configuration space integral followed by Chens iterated integrals. This extends results of Kohno and of Cohen and Gitler on the cohomology of the space of braids to a CDGA suitable for integration. We show that this integration is compatible with Bott-Taubes configuration space integrals for long links via a map between two diagram complexes. As a corollary, we get a surjection in cohomology from the space of long links to the space of braids. We also discuss to what extent our results apply to the case of classical braids.

We present a detailed description of a fundamental group algorithm based on Formans combinatorial version of Morse theory. We use this algorithm in a classification problem of prime knots up to 14 crossings.
We construct open book structures on all moment-angle manifolds and describe the topology of their leaves and bindings under certain restrictions. II. We also show, using a recent deep result about contact forms due to Borman, Eliashberg and Murphy [ 6], that every odd-dimensional moment-angle manifold admits a contact structure. This contrasts with the fact that, except for a few, well-determined cases, even-dimensional ones do not admit symplectic structures. We obtain the same results for large families of more general intersections of quadrics.
We prove that Morse local-to-global groups grow exponentially faster than their infinite index stable subgroups. This generalizes a result of Dahmani, Futer, and Wise in the context of quasi-convex subgroups of hyperbolic groups to a broad class of g roups that contains the mapping class group, CAT(0) groups, and the fundamental groups of closed 3-manifolds. To accomplish this, we develop a theory of automatic structures on Morse geodesics in Morse local-to-global groups. Other applications of these automatic structures include a description of stable subgroups in terms of regular languages, rationality of the growth of stable subgroups, density in the Morse boundary of the attracting fixed points of Morse elements, and containment of the Morse boundary inside the limit set of any infinite normal subgroup.
