In situations where the low lying eigenmodes of the Dirac operator are suppressed one observed degeneracies of some meson masses. Based on these results a hidden symmetry was conjectured, which is not a symmetry of the Lagrangian but emerges in the quantization process. We show here how the difference between classes of meson propagators is governed by the low modes and shrinks when they disappear.
We present a detailed analysis of the kinetic and mass terms associated with the Landau gauge gluon propagator in the presence of dynamical quarks, and a comprehensive dynamical study of certain special kinematic limits of the three-gluon vertex. Our
A unitarized nonrelativistic meson model which is successful for the description of the heavy and light vector and pseudoscalar mesons yields, in its extension to the scalar mesons but for the same model parameters, a complete nonet below 1 GeV. In t
The study of heavy-light meson masses should provide a way to determine renormalized quark masses and other properties of heavy-light mesons. In the context of lattice QCD, for example, it is possible to calculate hadronic quantities for arbitrary va
A continuum approach to the three valence-quark bound-state problem in quantum field theory is used to perform a comparative study of the four lightest $(I=1/2,J^P = 1/2^pm)$ baryon isospin-doublets in order to elucidate their structural similarities
A polynomial transformation for non-Hermitian matrices is presented, which provides access to wedge-shaped spectral windows. For Wilson-Dirac type matrices this procedure not only allows the determination of the physically interesting low-lying eigen
