In the paper we present results for final state emissions of lepton pairs in decays of heavy intermediate states such as Z boson. Short presentations of PHOTOS and SANC algorithms and physics assumptions are given. Numerical distributions of relevance for LHC observables are shown. They are used in discussions of systematic errors in the predictions of pair emissions as implemented in the two programs. Suggestions for the future works are given. Present results confirm, that for the precision of 0.3% level, in simulation of final state the pair emissions can be avoided. For the precision of 0.1-0.2%, the results obtained with the presented programs should be enough. To cross precision tag of 0.1%, the further work is however required.
The relevance of single-W and single-Z production processes at hadron colliders is well known: in the present paper the status of theoretical calculations of Drell-Yan processes is summarized and some results on the combination of electroweak and QCD
Radiative corrections to the charged current Drell-Yan processes are revisited. Complete one-loop electroweak corrections are calculated within the automatic SANC system. Electroweak scheme dependence and the choice of the factorization scale are dis
The Sivers distributions recently extracted from semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering data [1] are used to compute estimates for Sivers asymmetries in Drell-Yan processes which are being planned at several facilities (RHIC, COMPASS, J-PARC, PAX,
We present the Monte Carlo event generator WINHAC for Drell-Yan processes in proton-proton, proton-antiproton, proton-ion and ion-ion collisions. It features multiphoton radiation within the Yennie-Frautschi-Suura exclusive exponentiation scheme with
We report on the implementation of an interface between the SANC generator framework for Drell-Yan hard processes, which includes next-to-leading order electroweak (NLO EW) corrections, and the Herwig++ and Pythia8 QCD parton shower Monte Carlos. A s
