We consider here three dark matter models with the gauge symmetry of the standard model plus an additional local $U(1)_D$ factor. One model is truly secluded and the other two models begin flipped, but end up secluded. All of these models include one dark fermion and one vector boson that gains mass via the Stueckelberg mechanism. We show that the would be flipped models provide an example dark matter composed of almost least interacting particles (ALIPs). Such particles are therefore compatible with the constraints obtained from both laboratory measurements and astrophysical observations.

In any gauge extension of the standard model (SM) of quarks and leptons, there is a minimal set of fermion and scalar multiplets which encompasses all the particles and interactions of the SM. Included within this set, there may be a suitable dark-ma tter candidate. If not, one may still exist from the judicious addition of a simple fermion or scalar multiplet without any imposed symmetry. Some new examples of such predestined dark matter are discussed.
We discuss novel ways in which neutrino oscillation experiments can probe dark matter. In particular, we focus on interactions between neutrinos and ultra-light (fuzzy) dark matter particles with masses of order $10^{-22}$ eV. It has been shown previ ously that such dark matter candidates are phenomenologically successful and might help ameliorate the tension between predicted and observed small scale structures in the Universe. We argue that coherent forward scattering of neutrinos on fuzzy dark matter particles can significantly alter neutrino oscillation probabilities. These effects could be observable in current and future experiments. We set new limits on fuzzy dark matter interacting with neutrinos using T2K and solar neutrino data, and we estimate the sensitivity of reactor neutrino experiments and of future long-baseline accelerator experiments. These results are based on detailed simulations in GLoBES. We allow the dark matter particle to be either a scalar or a vector boson. In the latter case, we find potentially interesting connections to models addressing various $B$ physics anomalies.
The flipped 3-3-1 model discriminates lepton families instead of the quark ones in normal sense, where the left-handed leptons are in two triplets plus one sextet while the left-handed quarks are in antitriplets, under $SU(3)_L$. We investigate a min imal setup of this model and determine novel consequences of dark matter stability, neutrino mass generation, and lepton flavor violation. Indeed, the model conserves a noncommutative $B-L$ symmetry, which prevents the unwanted vacua and interactions and provides the matter parity and dark matter candidates that along with normal matter form gauge multiplets. The neutrinos obtain suitable masses via a type I and II seesaw mechanism. The nonuniversal couplings of $Z$ with leptons govern lepton flavor violating processes such as $mu rightarrow 3e$, $murightarrow e bar{ u}_mu u_e$, $mu$-$e$ conversion in nuclei, semileptonic $taurightarrow mu(e)$ decays, as well as the nonstandard interactions of neutrinos with matter. This $Z$ may also set the dark matter observables and give rise to the LHC dilepton and dijet signals.
We consider the indirect detection of dark matter that is captured in the Sun and subsequently annihilates to long lived dark mediators. If these mediators escape the Sun before decaying, they can produce striking gamma ray signals, either via the de cay of the mediators directly to photons, or via bremsstrahlung and hadronization of the mediator decay products. Using recent measurements from the HAWC Observatory, we determine model-independent limits on heavy dark matter that are orders of magnitude more powerful than direct detection experiments, for both spin-dependent and spin-independent scattering. We also consider a well-motivated model in which fermionic dark matter annihilates to dark photons. For such a realistic scenario, the strength of the solar gamma ray constraints are reduced, compared to the idealistic case, due to the fact that the dark matter capture cross section and mediator lifetime are related. Nonetheless, solar gamma ray constraints enable us to exclude a previously unconstrained region of dark photon parameter space.
A search for Secluded Dark Matter annihilation in the Sun using 2007-2012 data of the ANTARES neutrino telescope is presented. Three different cases are considered: a) detection of dimuons that result from the decay of the mediator, or neutrino detec tion from: b) mediator that decays into a dimuon and, in turn, into neutrinos, and c) mediator that decays directly into neutrinos. As no significant excess over background is observed, constraints are derived on the dark matter mass and the lifetime of the mediator.
