We reconsider the Gram-Hadamard bound as it is used in constructive quantum field theory and many body physics to prove convergence of Fermionic perturbative expansions. Our approach uses a recursion for the amplitudes of the expansion, discovered originally by Djokic arXiv:1312.1185. It explains the standard way to bound the expansion from a new point of view, and for some of the amplitudes provides new bounds, which avoid the use of Fourier transform, and are therefore superior to the standard bounds for models like the cold interacting Fermi gas.

In this article, we study the large $n$ asymptotic expansions of $ntimes n$ Toeplitz determinants whose symbols are indicator functions of unions of arc-intervals of the unit circle. In particular, we use an Hermitian matrix model reformulation of th e problem to provide a rigorous derivation of the general form of the large $n$ expansion when the symbol is an indicator function of either a single arc-interval or several arc-intervals with a discrete rotational symmetry. Moreover, we prove that the coefficients in the expansions can be reconstructed, up to some constants, from the Eynard-Orantin topological recursion applied to some explicit spectral curves. In addition, when the symbol is an indicator function of a single arc-interval, we provide the corresponding normalizing constants using a Selberg integral and illustrate the theoretical results with numeric simulations up to order $oleft(frac{1}{n^4}right)$. We also briefly discuss the situation when the number of arc-intervals increases with $n$, as well as more general Toeplitz determinants to which we may apply the present strategy.
Consider a charged, perfect quantum gas, in the effective mass approximation, and in the grand-canonical ensemble. We prove in this paper that the generalized magnetic susceptibilities admit the thermodynamic limit for all admissible fugacities, unif ormly on compacts included in the analyticity domain of the grand-canonical pressure. The problem and the proof strategy were outlined in cite{3}. In cite{4} we proved in detail the pointwise thermodynamic limit near $z=0$. The present paper is the last one of this series, and contains the proof of the uniform bounds on compacts needed in order to apply Vitalis Convergence Theorem.
Quasi-symmetry of a steady magnetic field means integrability of first-order guiding-centre motion. Here we derive many restrictions on the possibilities for a quasi-symmetry. We also derive an analogue of the Grad-Shafranov equation for the flux fun ction in a quasi-symmetric magnetohydrostatic field.
A formal series transformation to Birkhoff-Gustavson normal form is obtained for toroidal magnetic field configurations in the neighborhood of a magnetic axis. Bishops rotation-minimizing coordinates are used to obtain a local orthogonal frame near t he axis in which the metric is diagonal, even if the curvature has zeros. We treat the cases of vacuum and force-free (Beltrami) fields in a unified way, noting that the vector potential is essentially the Poincare-Liouville one-form of Hamiltonian dynamics, and the resulting magnetic field corresponds to the canonical two-form of a nonautonomous one-degree-of-freedom system. Canonical coordinates are obtained and Floquet theory is used to transform to a frame in which the lowest-order Hamiltonian is autonomous. The resulting magnetic axis can be elliptic or hyperbolic, and resonant elliptic cases are treated. The resulting expansion for the field is shown to be well-defined to all orders, and is explicitly computed to degree four. An example is given for an axis with constant torsion near a 1:3 resonance.
We consider the damped/driver (modified) cubic NLS equation on a large torus with a properly scaled forcing and dissipation, and decompose its solutions to formal series in the amplitude. We study the second order truncation of this series and prove that when the amplitude goes to zero and the torus size goes to infinity the energy spectrum of the truncated solutions becomes close to a solution of the damped/driven wave kinetic equation. Next we discuss higher order truncations of the series.
